Why do 3 guns make up 46% of the kills in trials?

Im not here to cry OP or Nerf Plz but i just think it's kind of saddening to see nearly half of all players use these three guns (MIDA, TLW, 1KYS)
you would like to think there would be a large number of viable options that arent these 3. I understand the thousand yard is the only realistic option for rez sniping but still.
Thoughts?

Just went flawless and ran into 2 team of MIDA/1KDS only and 2 teams of TLW/1KYS only.
Shoutout to the team we ran into that was using fusion rifles and the guy with the First Curse.

Because more than a year later, and every gun getting buffed/nerfed MULTIPLE times. They STILL have no clue what to do....one of the worst companies I have ever seen in my life in that regard.....

2 AntwortenIt has nothing to do with being viable. They are good, hyped and have been sold by Xur or were a quest reward.

1 AntwortenHow do you know those numbers are factual? After a week of Iron Banner I saw low impact auto rifles left and right. MIDA is one of the few scouts that can compete with the way over powered low impact high rate of fire auto rifles. Anyone can take one of these and do well. Difference there are at least 4 auto rifles that fit this category, but they are pretty much the same weapon. So the "numbers" hide the problem.

Good question. They have made their weapon such that there are the few that are above all else. Gjallahorn anyone... With ttk it seemed that the fusion system was a way to pull away from that but the results are the same. More players stick with the same popular "wining is wining " options as well they work. Players are not going to use things that give a disadvantage. Example. Why use HC right now? The changes have broken them. U can't effectively compete with an auto or pulse. Don't say last word.. Those players are getting ambush kills and or get in fights that are in the weapons range and its perks off set the issue to a degree. It would be awesome for the pvp world to go with what they like and it be balanced all around. No one weapon class offered a range advantage but this game can't be that way. They have weapon stats that don't allow that.

Bearbeitet von Lid the Impaler: 1/6/2016 4:36:32 PMSorry I didn't read it was trials....trials is always Sniper or Shotgun.... Mida staggers sniper and gives you extra agility so helps you get around to shotgun faster...if your sniping TLW can kill shotgunners quickly its a no brainer!

Yeah, it's pretty upsetting that they are using certain weapons, but that's how it's always gonna be. A weapon tester from Bungie has said that MIDA is very balanced. It's just that people like to overuse weapons. It's a community favorite.

I don't use any of those... Supercell or ntte Eirine rr4 (litc) ;-) or binary dawn. Quilliums terminous or bolt caster. Also the taloc is fun. So is plan c lol

Because Bungie keeps nerfing other weapons and discourages variety. Not that hard to figure out.
