Bearbeitet von geordie007: 1/7/2016 12:51:28 PMWell I dont like RNG that much, finished the hard raid 3 times a week from first week, lighthouse every week, stuff still dropped and I was stuck around 315 on all characters as 320's would never drop. I would always get 311 shit. Bungie thinks I will grind more...not really, I just got fed up and left. I left half way through VOG as well as no gear would ever drop for me on raids. Black spindle, Thorn and other guns were a step in right direction, I earned them and worthy of my time. Also Destiny 2 needs to be 60 FPS and have more local PING based match making...the lag is shit in destiny crucible and is unplayable now that the user base has gone.

4 AntwortenEtheric light, for me, was better. Simply put, once you completed a task that gave you an etheric light, you were guaranteed to advance the level of a piece of equipment. It was a true reward. Something that advanced your character when you completed something. With infusion, you can complete any task and it give you something you can't use at all. That isn't rewarding. It is frustrating. Also, even when you get something higher and better that you want to infuse, you only get a percentage of it's level. I don't see why they couldn't combine this system. Make drops guarantee some advancement to your character, but don't make them as large a jump as etheric light. You can create a rewarding system that takes longer to level than HoW did. It is pretty clear that infusion, along with RNG, was created to extend the grind because of the lack of content in Year 2. They wanted it to take forever for poeple to reach max level. The problem with that is you lose a good chunk of players that just don't want to grind for a system that isn't rewarding.

It's significantly better than vanilla, imo. Vanilla, you had to have all raid armor or all raid plus an exotic helm for lvl 30. Everyone had to look the same. Now there are way more options and you can use all your useless raid dupes as infusion fodder to build your loadout exactly how you want. Currently I'll work on a loadout until I can run it at 312+, then I will build up a different loadout.

Absolutely terrible. There's no sense of accomplishment when you have to be lucky to get a certain drop. I want to level up by XP not by getting lucky.
-
Only the light of drops is an issue. The light level is essentially an item level which has always been a good system to see hor well geared people are.
-
If the level of drops would improve, it wouldn't be so bad. I thought originally they said items would drop within 20 plus or minus your current level. We now know that what was really meant was that things mostly drop as much as 40 below, and that weapons only drop 25% as much as armor.
-
I think putting light on useless relics, class items, and ghosts was a huge mistake. I also think that it should have been one or the other when it came to level vs. light level. They still use normal level to decrease our effectiveness in the raid.
-
Actually, it was a superb design decision if a company were interested in ensuring a grind to keep players, like myself, gaming.

2 AntwortenThink removing light from weapons would be a great idea. Otherwise it's great.

It causes more bad than good

9 AntwortenThe following is a quote "Oh shut up. This is what the community asked for. This system is way better than the old one. In forever 29 days, it actually put you at a disadvantage. For those 'forever 319' guys out there, guess what: the difference between 319 and 320 is so insignificantly small that it makes no difference. 300+ gear is supposed to be harder to get because it's the endgame light level and 310+ is nothing more than extra light to make you feel overpowered in endgame Pve content. Seriously, the highest level boss is 320 oryx on hard. That's it. The only difference 310+ really has is in the hard raid oryx fight. There's no reason to reach 320. No reward or emblem for doing so. It's just an ocd feeling most of you have because you're so used to having max light level matter. If you've hit 310, gotten your favorite gear to 310+, you're done. Of course you can keep going until 320, but the main incentive should be reaching 310 not 320. I bet if the max light level actually capped at 310, and the hard raid just dropped stuff at a guaranteed 310, you'd be praising the light level system. However since there's 10 extra light levels that are so important for some reason even thought they have literally no advantage in the game, you all hate it. Might as well ask for a new one. Just be careful what you wish for, because you'll probably complain about that if Bungie makes it happen. Yes, I'm sorry they made your old class items irrelevant, which is why I'm in support for transmog in Destiny. Infusion's great, but it can't replace transmog. I feel guns can come and go, but armor cosmetically should not become irrelevant." -cold walrus, 2015

1 AntwortenThe new light system is dumb. Stop giving me 311 raid rewards when I'm 319. That's all
-
I preferred the straight forward level system. This current iteration is annoying and complicated.

It is definitely as bad if not worse then the VoG days. I used to have 3 fully upgraded sets of armor for each class and tons of leveled up guns. Now I have ONE set of armor for each class and very limited guns. The infusion system is terrible. HM raids 3x every week and I have 320 319 319 as I need 2 sets of gauntlets to finish all at 320. So basically, wait until Golgoroth CM week and hope I get gauntlets because HM raid drops suck.
-
I love it, the worst design decision in Destiny was etheric light.
-
Light In class items was the dumbest move

Bearbeitet von Tostawea: 1/5/2016 10:43:27 PMThe worst decision with the light level was to give the class items a light value. I WANT MI VOG CLOAK BACK OK OR AT LEAST ALL THE CLOAKS CHANGING COLORS WITH THE SHADER
-
I dunno if it was a bad Idea, I think it was just implemented in the wrong way. Instead of having it determine the damage output or your defence it should really just determine the damage your super does that way if your gun is 319 and sniper is 310 the light level won't try to balance it out . Maybe then guardians will feel more powerful with there abilities
-
Instead of just needing armor to reach max power you now also need artifacts, Ghosts and weapons. Great jorb, Bungie. I suppose next up we'll be judged on our ships and Sparrows. 320 Light shader, 2016!

It's the best it's been so far. Forever 29 sucked Etheric light took the hunt for things out of the game and shortend the life of the game.

On the fence about this. While I think light is meh. I think light should be replaced with grimoire. What a player has done should equal out to a personal level. Not what a lottery system determines
