On the hands on someone capable.. nightstalker is king... thank god the majority of hunters dont know how to use it. Lol

I use nightstalker because of its passive abilities, the super is underwhelming though can be extremely helpful in some situations [spoiler] Wombo combo for life[/spoiler]

Weapons of light plus surpressor grenade bam got yourself a way better tether

You're right, I liked it for pvp at first but realized the super is mostly useless, except for rare times when you can shadowshot a whole team from behind cover and not get killed instantly.. I could see it being maybe more useful with the trap perk, but giving up keen scout wouldn't be worth it.. Tethers need to last way longer or something, its nowhere near as supportive as bubble.

I agree. I only enjoy using my hunter for pve.. The super is just terrible for pvp. My lock is much better for pvp..

In general I agree with you. As a Nightstalker main, I would gladly accept a PvP Shadowshot buff! As a Destiny player, Shadowshot is perfect the way it is, and Nightstalkers have tons of other PvP advantages that make up for its lackluster super.

4 AntwortenReally? Shadowshot is not a pvp based super, it's a support based. While it does have pvp based capability due to its neutral game it's super just isn't meant for guardians.

Agreed it is imo, but the neutral game of that class is amazing so I'm not that mad about it, it would be nice if they buffed the damage a bit it can't even ohko a guardian with a over sheild which sucks especially in trials

I don't know what you're talking about. I used to use Hammer of Sol in game modes like Mayhem Rumble. It was a super that completely dominated that game mode. Now that it has been nerfed, Shadowshot took its place. Shadowshot is great in PvP.

I main a titan; hunter is my go-to 2nd class for pvp. I really like Shadowshot. It, like other supers, works situationally. So it really depends on your preference. I don't like pulse rifles in pvp or pve. So I hardly use them. And I try to stay out of their sweet spot range in pvp (for others that have them equipped). You play to the strengths and weaknesses of what you choose to equip.

i know man, shadow-shot is trash, i main a hunter and admit it, using it in trials usually hurts me more than helps, because you can still shoot or move out of it, suppressor grenades do the exact same thing as this.
