so when is pve players going to be able to get max light level rewards with out doing raids
I'm very disgusted when my friends who do iron banner get 320 gear and I cant. I don't hate them for it its not there fault. I HATE pvp and will never pvp this is just bull crap I want to be able to get good loot aswell not have to wait a week for another half ass chance ill get 1 in the last month there has been pvp event to help help all the pvp players but you totally fail to give players anything. all I see is that discriminate against pve players anyway you can. hell they can grind there eyes out doing what they love to do and get rewards but pve players don't get squat

1 AntwortenI don't understand the point of playing only pve if you don't raid. they're the most challenging pve content(although not to difficult) and finding a team ain't that hard. Honestly though you don't need max light of you don't raid or do end game pvp.... If you want gear play the game. You can't just cut off certain parts of the game and expect to be given new content. You don't even play the content that they did give you.

Neither ib nor trials have guaranteed 320 gear. You have a way to get guaranteed 320 gear every week. If you don't want to do it, that's on you.

Probably never. Raids and NF are the endgame of PvE. Just like ToS and IB are the endgame of PvP. Want high level gear? Then you have to do something more challenging than a strike or story mission.

Thats on you. Pve and pvp are both part of Destiny if you choose not to play one of the activities then you have no room to gripe. I dont care for pvp but i have had better luck getting higher light level gear there lately

1 AntwortenAll I will say is that Bungie -blam!-ed up the loot system royally. They said they wanted to make Destiny less of a grind but turn around and randomize light on armor and weapon drops. I remember back in the good old days when you knew that if you got gear from the raid, ib, or trials that it was going to be at max light level. Now, not only are you not guaranteed gear but that gear may or may not be at max light. Now you are wasting time grinding for gear you already have in hopes that it will be higher light than the gear you have to only be disappointed that it still drops 5 light lower than the gear you are using with shittier perks. Bungie took a huge step back in this department and made Destiny feel more like a hopeless waste of time.

You won't. I feel the same way about pvp. I just accept that I won't get exotic swords or chaperone. It's the price of playing the game the way I want to play it. I never had a max level character until how because I didn't raid until about that time.

Not happening bro! You need to Raid to get close to 320. The good news is that the rest of the game is perfectly playable between 290 to 310. So if you don't raid your still well off just not as well off as those who Raid/Trials ETC.

Yeah guys I agree!.. We should get lvl 320 gear from doing patrol!!, why waste our time on raids, trials and iron banner when it's way easier on patrol! Greatest idea ever!

Don't you get a guaranteed 320 drop from raid challenge. If you raid then do that you will get there eventually.

My thoughts: To be honest, could give squat about light levels K/D, any of that, but yeah I do need to armor and weapon up, AT my rate been here since it came out, and played my first PvP in IB, loved it played when I could, did I get any good drops, hell no, but crap I had a fing blast, going to do it again next one, I will do what I want, raids etc....to get the better stuff eventually, at my pace, and not going to make a post and piss and moan about someone else who worked their asses off getting better gear! Yeah I got smoked a lot in IB, but I was outclassed by the others wapons and armor and skill, but bet your ass, next time I will be better prepared, it is not their fault it was Mine!!! Everyone with this mentality needs to look to themselves, it is their own faults they are underpowered so to speak! So go kick some ass and quit wallering about it!! Peace Out!

Well the raid is the main PvE event, trials is the main PvP one, I suppose you have a slight chance of getting something good

That high light is meant for raids, or IB, if you aren't going to participate in those then you have no reason to get that high. Only raid I imagine taking 4-6 hours would have been VoG back in Y1, just cause certain aspects take a hell of a long time. King's Fall? With a good team, you can best that somewhere around 2 hours. 4-6 hours of time would be the time it takes for me to carry players who are completely new to the raid.
