The only super I'm happy to die to...
In a 1v1 situation when the Titan goes straight for the panic smash I'm always like.."Well he obviously knows I'm better than him if he had to do that so let him have his moment of glory.."

Like every other class doesn't use there supers In exactly the same way, the only difference is you can't get out of the way!

Well yesterday both times I used it on 1 person was because I just killed 4 of there members and then he came up to me with a shotgun. But he can go ahead and think he's better than me.

Not really a fan of supers.. Gives a lesser skilled player a get out of jail free card basically

4 AntwortenIf we already have the control points, I'll use my smash in a 1 vs 1 anyday. Why not? Sitting on it doesn't do me any good, smashing you with it gives me the kill and bonus points for using the super, and at 300 intellect I'll have it again in short order.

16 AntwortenI feel there's two types of players: The first thinks, "Imma wait to use my Super tactically where I know it will benefit my team." Whether it be taking over or holding a control point, shutting down a super, or rushing a heavy that is their mindset. They hope to make as many Orbs as possible with one super and play the objective even if it means holding it all game for the opportune moment. The other mindest is, "Every second I hold onto my Super is another second I could have been charging another one." So they just smash and Nova any player they see making single orbs for nearby players. Either option is viable. Without one player the other would suffer. Use your super how you want, whether it be revenge, a comeback, strategically, or not at all (I don't condone this unless your using Tlaloc). PLAY HOW YOU WANT.

But I get it so often. I usually say, " Well, f-ck this guy. " and use it on one person. Most of the time I save it for heavy though.

Striker has great grenades and what not. Smashing on a salvage point works great. It's also great to stop people from shutting down a huge streak. If I'm a noob for using it when I'm almost dead in a 1v1, so what. It's not a 1v1 when you win a 1v1 and some dick trys to shut you down when your weak. I'll continue to smash arc blade, gunslingers, stormcallers, self res, hammers, and bubbles because I can. End of story. [spoiler]Their tears are delicious....[/spoiler]

So true haha and this is again common because sun breaker is barely usable anymore. Love when you are in gun play then they come over and smash. It's infuriating until you remember they couldn't kill you without it.

A Fist of havoc can be the most tactical, useful, and skillful super. It can also be used to take out one guy for no reason.

3 AntwortenI know people say wait for a multi-kill, but let's be honest, that's an ideal situation that probably happens once per game. Then you won't generate orbs for your team, and they'll complain "Why didn't you make us orbs, you're being stingy". And you'll say "oh you told me to wait for a multi-kill but it didn't happen." But then if you use it on one person, they say "Oh, you should've saved it for a multi-kill." Basically, there's not always going to be an ideal situation for you to use your super, so use it when you think it's best. If it happens, it happens. Supers are supposed to be an advantage in certain situations, so use it when you need the advantage.

Nah, I only use mine when my Zone is being captured or when I see a Super coming around the corner

Haha, I know this is not a great logic, but anyways. Everytime I can get a double kill and a third guy shows up while I'm already weak, I'll just fist of panic him to get the triple and survive the engagement. Other than that, I only use it on a group of people.
