Okay so before people start complaining about not playing all 3 classes, I do have one of each char fully leveled up at 318-319 light with my good guns.
I started destiny on day 1 with a Hunter because I saw how cool bladedancers were, however after about 3-4 weeks I made a Warlock because I found out that they were just better for pve then upto like januari/februari I mained a Warlock and had 3 Warlocks. After a while I made a Hunter and started using that from time to time because they are so damn sexy. Then a few weeks later I made another Titan got it up to lvl 32 and deleted it for another Warlock. Then about 2-3 weeks after HoW came out I decided to delete that same Warlock for a Titan and I started to main a Hunter, however I was still not sure about what class to main so I kept switching between the two. After I was like okay I'm going to main a Warlock I deleted the Warlock I started with back in September for a new male Warlock because I think they look better. So I made the Warlock leveled up the subclasses and then just switched back to Hunter because I got annoyed by the Warlock. That's when TTK trailer was released and I saw the new subclasses at first I was 100% sure to main Hunter but after a while I had doubts again. Now I have all my chars up to 318-319 light and I still can't decide what class to main, I stuck with Hunter for a long time but I just love the Warlock aswell however I just really do like the look and jump of the Hunters more than any other class. So I'm just wondering how you guys chose what class to main and maybe that will help me in making my final choice. :)

I mained a titan because it looked the most like a spartan. And the idea of the fist of havok seemed cool. Of course if there are any year one titans out there you know how much I regretted it

Went warlock then hunter and finally Titan, I use them all but love my warlock the most

Hunter Reasons: Advanced radar Invisibility Grenade (that can turn anyone on your team invisible) GOLDEN GUN Hunter looks OP Trip mine grenade Shadowshot Throwing knife And a lot more

Felt the game needed more titans in Y1
-
At first I tried the warlock and then the others the warlock was the best to me but I like the titan to
-
Warlock looked the coolest to me
-
My brothers both picked hunters and thought the warlock was dumb. So I picked warlock
-
Beta made me choose the warlock, only made the titan and hunter up towards the end of TDB....
-
I took one look at the Titan, and the fact that he had the most armor (in theory) and looked the coolest, I went with that. I don't regret it.

2 AntwortenIt was all about the jumps at first... Then the supers....now it's who ever looks the best .... Titan for the win right now.

I made my hunter first, then warlock, then Titan. I spent a lot of time on my hunter but when I made my warlock, I initially thought I was one of them. Then my Titan came around and I thought for a while that I was one of them. I spent the better part of 4 months bouncing back and forth between the two (warlock & Titan).. I didn't touch my Hunter at all. Then, one day I decided to finally get a Skolas completion on my hunter.. I then wound up using him in IB.. After all that time I spent unsure whether I was a warlock or titan, I realized I was neither. My hunter has officially been my main since June, with the 6 months prior looked back at as a time where I was still figuring everything out (I was a Y1 Christmas Noob).

Bearbeitet von Sanctus Michael: 1/4/2016 9:02:20 PMFor me it goes back to my dungeons and dragons roots. I've always been an rpg fan and, in that regard, I've always gravitated toward the rogue classes. Hunter seems like the "rogue" class of Destiny to me

Try all 3 for a bit and then chose your favourite or level them all and split your time
-
Hunter is my main since the beta days, reason why I got the others were so I can raid vog three times a weeks

Bearbeitet von SearSlayer: 1/4/2016 5:32:43 PMI mained a Hunter from day 1 until mid-Dark Below, then I made a Warlock to play with my friend who was going to main a Warlock (who is now a Hunter, haha). I played as a Voidwalker until discovering the beauty of the Sunsinger. It's been my favorite subclass ever since. I love every aspect of it, though it could use more supportive elements. I did experiment with the Stormcaller, and I do go back to Voidwalker for fun every once in a while, but I still remain a Sunsinger. I never touched my poor Hunter again, so I deleted it. Now I will always rise from the ash as a Sunsinger.

When beta hit I was all about that hunter life the stealth aspect is what got me played threw the whole beta and wasn't to sure on it. Game launch read the Titan and have been a titan ever since.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von thedinobot: 1/4/2016 4:26:40 PMI love using all three, but I started playing this game on a Warlock simply because it looked like the sorcerer based character I usually use. I ended up using the Titan though and fell in love with it the moment I used it.

I originally started on a hunter an I too thought that was just the best class in the world. After competing in lots of crucible matches an raids I grew board of my hunter. At the start of year to I ended up deleting my hunter an rerolled a Warlock an its been the best game decision I've made. I've always enjoyed playing support style roles an warlock sorta fits that description with self resurrection abilities an the ability to dominate add control with the new subclass. In addition Blink+Nova Bomb on a control point with 3+ enemies on it is just plain funny. I only have the one character because I'm not into grinding gear for 3 different characters. The only downside to all of this is was I lost all the rep gained by my hunter. So to answer your question, comes down to a simple equation: which ever class best suites your playstyle is the one you should main.

I main my warlock cause I started as one in the beta. I just love it man...

Was decision was based purely on the throwing knives. Which i never use now.

I just started up the game, made my character, read the super for all the classes and decided Titan was the best for me
