Okay so before people start complaining about not playing all 3 classes, I do have one of each char fully leveled up at 318-319 light with my good guns.
I started destiny on day 1 with a Hunter because I saw how cool bladedancers were, however after about 3-4 weeks I made a Warlock because I found out that they were just better for pve then upto like januari/februari I mained a Warlock and had 3 Warlocks. After a while I made a Hunter and started using that from time to time because they are so damn sexy. Then a few weeks later I made another Titan got it up to lvl 32 and deleted it for another Warlock. Then about 2-3 weeks after HoW came out I decided to delete that same Warlock for a Titan and I started to main a Hunter, however I was still not sure about what class to main so I kept switching between the two. After I was like okay I'm going to main a Warlock I deleted the Warlock I started with back in September for a new male Warlock because I think they look better. So I made the Warlock leveled up the subclasses and then just switched back to Hunter because I got annoyed by the Warlock. That's when TTK trailer was released and I saw the new subclasses at first I was 100% sure to main Hunter but after a while I had doubts again. Now I have all my chars up to 318-319 light and I still can't decide what class to main, I stuck with Hunter for a long time but I just love the Warlock aswell however I just really do like the look and jump of the Hunters more than any other class. So I'm just wondering how you guys chose what class to main and maybe that will help me in making my final choice. :)

When i got on the beta i was lost lol i thought the hunter was only good for sniping and as much as i like warlocks and their magic i just chose titans bcuz they were basic

People don't get pissy at me if I'm running Defender. Simple as that.

A titan was my first and was my only character for a pretty good while after getting to 31 and couldn't run Crota but once a week for radiant shards I got bored with not being able to level up and made a Hunter. quickly got to 30 and was able to run Crota twice a week now and quickly finished leveling up titan. Then once I got both to 32 HoW was about to drop so I made a Warlock. The Hunter is my favorite though by far the titan and Warlock are only used to run the raid and that's it.

I didn't.

Originally I wanted warlock cause of nova bomb and blink, but the jump annoyed me and I kinda got carried away with my Titan and I got too lazy to level other characters and I used my spark on my hunter mostly cause unlike the supers and nightstalker seemed pretty cool

Bearbeitet von BloodS1ay3r: 1/2/2016 3:01:25 AMI chose Titan in the beginning because I assumed it was the "generic" warrior class which I do in every game to start. Little did I realize the Defender Titan is super handy for every situation.

Dont use meta. Use what find fun to use, thats what games are for. If it is meta, as long as youre enjoying the character

I wanted to be special so I figured warlocks would be least used since they seemed less cool

Started as a hunter and after i finished the story mode i tried the other classes. I like the abilities of the warlock but the jump sucks. Pretty much the same play style as a hunter Titans (while i do enjoy it from time to time) are entirely different in effective play style. You lose by standing still and you always have to rush.

I like friendship bracelets :P

I chose the hunter, based initially on the name and the look, secondly the jumping style. I grew up with double jump. No glides or jetpacks. Throwing knives have become a favorite of mine over the years, and the fact that hunters also had those, was nice. Titans were ruled out for me because, to be frank, I like being agile and quick. But by far the biggest plus to being a hunter, the 2 perks in the skill tree that give you a stability increase, as well as reload time increase. Hunters will make the best use of weaponry, while Titans and warlock will get more kills by using their supers.
