Okay so before people start complaining about not playing all 3 classes, I do have one of each char fully leveled up at 318-319 light with my good guns.
I started destiny on day 1 with a Hunter because I saw how cool bladedancers were, however after about 3-4 weeks I made a Warlock because I found out that they were just better for pve then upto like januari/februari I mained a Warlock and had 3 Warlocks. After a while I made a Hunter and started using that from time to time because they are so damn sexy. Then a few weeks later I made another Titan got it up to lvl 32 and deleted it for another Warlock. Then about 2-3 weeks after HoW came out I decided to delete that same Warlock for a Titan and I started to main a Hunter, however I was still not sure about what class to main so I kept switching between the two. After I was like okay I'm going to main a Warlock I deleted the Warlock I started with back in September for a new male Warlock because I think they look better. So I made the Warlock leveled up the subclasses and then just switched back to Hunter because I got annoyed by the Warlock. That's when TTK trailer was released and I saw the new subclasses at first I was 100% sure to main Hunter but after a while I had doubts again. Now I have all my chars up to 318-319 light and I still can't decide what class to main, I stuck with Hunter for a long time but I just love the Warlock aswell however I just really do like the look and jump of the Hunters more than any other class. So I'm just wondering how you guys chose what class to main and maybe that will help me in making my final choice. :)

Bearbeitet von technohollow99: 1/12/2016 9:59:27 AMi chose a titan since at the time i played a crap ton of halo, his supers may not have been the best in year 1 but i was so used to his type of fighting style cause of me being a Spartan but don't get me wrong I'm not saying i don't main as him i'm giving backstory. i still main as him to this day and yes i use the other classes but i enjoy playing as a titan the most^^ #can'twaittogethalo5

I chose a Warlock I have a warlock and a hunter with a up and coming titan I have played all three classes and in PvE they are all good. its just up to what you want to be Sunsingers are good because they can save the whole team or you from losing the whole progress you and your team mates got to in a boss fight or something like that. Stormcaller can clear a huge wave of ads with the right perks enabled, and a void walker i never really found a good use for its special other than wave clearing or just "fun" I could give you the pros for other classes but you want a suggestion not more reasons to think about what to pick Hope you find good tips in your thread.

I'm not particularly subtle on games like this, a man of simple tastes (explosions, big guns etc) so naturally a Titan fit the bill.

1 AntwortenTry out all three. And try all the subclasses, not just by running around and doing patrol, but try it for missions, raids, crucible, iron banner, trials of Osiris. Everything. Then just main whichever character you are best at. For me it was warlock. I use storm caller for pretty much everything. For my brother it was titan, he uses sunbreaker( fire hammers) for pve, and striker for PvP. So ya whatever you are best at. :). Hope I helped!!!

Warlocks looked kinda cool. And #majorpurpleatombombd
-
I'm a tank on most games so I chose the Titan thinking he would be a tank. They are not tanks at all.
-
I do it based on the how the class plays and how the subclasses would work with my playstyle
-
I always play assassins no matter what so there's that
-
Idk I made all 3 and got them all to level 8 in he beta and I liked hunter the most
-
Warlock. Love all the subs And itvs pretty amazing having Energy bomb like Son Goku or Burn the fk out of mobs.
-
I liked playing stealth characters and distance, when I saw the hunter I had high hopes for it to be fun and for while it was, but now I'm like "eh.... Don't feel like playing this month"
-
2 AntwortenI play and enjoy all three equally
-
Picked the titan cause they look awesome.
-
Cool Capes
-
Well I wanted to be a fallen when I first started reading about the game. But when it came out titan seemed more my style. Stuck with it since then
-
I picked the fun ones I do well with. That's why I deleted my warlock to get another hunter. Once the new hunters maxed out it's classes I'll kill off the old one and make a warlock again. Just play the one you think is fun
-
Titan. They look like Spartans from Halo.
-
I came from Halo. Titan looked like Spartan. Me main Titan.
-
One of the original commercials for Destiny when the Hunter walks away from killing a cabal, and flips up his hood.
-
Hunters have capes>anything else. Also in the beta I played warlock a lot but I hated (and still hate) the jump.
-
When I first got Destiny, it came with a poster. On it was a Hunter, Warlock, and Titan on the moon. The Hunter was holding Thorn and thus, I wanted a Hunter because I thought Thorn could only be used by them.
-
I wanted to punch stuff.
-
I chose warlock because it looked awesome to me. started in vanilla but game didnt catch my attention at first so i didnt play. Once ttk came out i started playing again and i stuck with warlock. Have been giving a thought to making a titan though.

I read the abilities for all classes and chose the one I thought suited me better

Bearbeitet von NoLandBeyond: 1/6/2016 4:58:55 PMI started as a warlock and still main it. Mainly because of it being my first character. I do use hunter and Titan too, which are fun. But I still take my warlock up every expansion first. I owe it to him. Lol. Edit: on topic I was a warlock during the beta. Thought they were fun to play with because of space magic.
