I read a ridiculous amount because I'm a history major. Luckily I enjoy most of it though. I don't have one favorite author but I've been enjoying a novel by Wilbur Smith as of late that is very good IMO. This coming semester I am looking forward to reading some Aristophanes and the books on my Irish history class. Some of my favorite books include but are not limited to: [i]River God[/i], numerous Jack Ryan novels by Clancy, [i]The Art of War[/i], [i]The Teachings of Confucius[/i], a book on the Zoroastrian religion, [i]Hitler Youth[/i], etc. [spoiler]ive read too many books this year. But I don't think that's a bad thing[/spoiler]

I mostly read comics. The art just draws me in more than novels. Right now I'm reading Saga. It's really good. Kind of a Romeo and Juliette story mixed with Star Wars. Also super NSFW.

I normally just read for my classes since I'm an auditory learner and am not interested in reading as a result. But lately for one class I've been reading a lot on the French philosopher ricouer (or however you spell it), as herennium, Aristotle's emotions, and some other stuff.

Just started Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. Newest favorite author has to be Philip Roth though. Wish I would have found this guy sooner.
