-
It does invalidate his opinion if he hasn't played it.
-
No it doesn't. To say so is a logical fallacy.
-
Yes it does. You cannot have a valid opinion of something without experiencing it son.

You cannot have a valid opinion of something without experiencing it son.
Playing it first hand isn't the only way to experience it, "son". I've experienced the failures of SRL second hand in every single comments section of most every media article posted about SRL. You don't have to play SLR to see countless videos of players having issues with the racing physics, and form a subjective opinion that the physics aren't great. You don't have to play SRL to form the subjective opinion that it's too much of a stretch to feel like it fits into the lore. You don't have to play SLR to know that micro-transaction shops are largely disagreed with by the gaming community, and that the people who invest into them are encouraging this new marketing strategy.
last I checked, I don't have to do meth to form an opinion on it lol
Without seeing that he has actually done SRL I'm forced to believe his opinions come from Reddit/YouTube. #sarcasm

Being an idiot does invalidate his opinion though... So there is that.
Being an idiot does invalidate his opinion though... So there is that.
"Being an idiot" actually doesn't invalidate his opinion.
a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty
Although, it is your opinion that he is an idiot.
-
Actually it's a fact, not an opinion... So there is that too. ;)

Bearbeitet von freshlydunbread: 12/29/2015 6:00:21 PM
Actually it's a fact, not an opinion... So there is that too. ;)
Do you.. Do you really not know the difference between a fact an opinion? Do you know what an opinion is?
-
I'm confident I do. I think it's you who is struggling kiddo. Opinions and facts aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. Your capacity for logic and reason lag far behind your sense of how intelligent you think yourself. Your an amateur son. A Kindergarten contrarian. A Noob debater. You're playing checkers I'm playing chess. You're not even admitted at my table. I'm Ashkenazi you're chimpanzee. Go play with your poop and leave the grown ups alone.

It took you all those words to not progress your argument any further? Wow.. Are you trying to compensate for something? Your opinion is that OP is a stupid person, or an "idiot", which you cannot prove objectively.

He says the physics are awful, need to form your own opinions on that, so yes, playing would be necessary. He says it doesn't fit lore wise. We fight each other to hone our skills, why wouldn't we race to hone our skills to, I don't know, get to the fight faster. What if the combat zone is too hot to fly a ship in to? I didn't buy the book, so apparently you don't have to jump in the micro transaction pool if you don't want to. I did buy some sparrows, but that's because I felt some of the designs were worth my disposable income. You could still hit rank 3 for a chance at class items and helms while spending 0 dollars, amazing.
-
You don't need to play to see that many players didn't like how it turned out. Him saying it doesn't fit into the lore is his subjective opinion. Just because some people don't buy the micro-transactions doesn't mean that the people who do aren't encouraging a business practice that's largely disagreed with by the gaming community.
-
Largely, or by the vocal minority on the forums? You have no data to prove this one way or the other.
-
Bearbeitet von freshlydunbread: 12/29/2015 5:16:38 AMLol, I don't know; why don't you check out the comments sections of literally any media article about Destiny that isn't hosted on Bungie.net or r/Destinythegame.. Last I checked, about a week and half ago, the trophy %'s across all of PSN, both PS3 and PS4, for simple milestones such as a single subclass fully upgraded for each Hunter, Warlock and Titan were 19.6%, 19.2% and 18.6%, respectively. Those are some dismal numbers.. Keep in mind, most of that is 40/40/40 diehards.
-
And how many of the 81% that don't have trophies quit long before micro transactions. That's an ignorant benchmark to use. I'd bet more people have quit just because they felt raids weren't accessible to them.
-
It's not my job to validate myself to you. It's called privacy settings to keep stalkers like you away -blam!-face. I've raced plenty, and it sucks, and you know it.
-
You hide because you're a scrub and you know you'll get called on it. You've probably never even cracked sub 4:20 on Venus and are the reason it's so easy to win.

Bearbeitet von Adam: 12/29/2015 11:40:56 AMC'mon dude..... You're acting as though Sparrow Racing takes some degree of skill. Please, just stop. It's a mini-game and not serious or competitive in any way, shape or form. He doesn't want to share his stats, which is completely his choice. He still has as much of a right to an opinion as you do.
-
Says the account that has not played Destiny.
