I've been trying out a few different auto rifles recently and was curious which ones the community was have success with?
Edit: also what perks should I be on the look out for?
Edit 2: Wow over 200 comments! Thanks everyone.

2 AntwortenYou should try an arminious-d with glass half full and if your lucky maybe have high caliber rounds on it. Its a low impact-high rate of fire so the damage drop off is minimal. It's great for giving the team ample cover fire support. If you manage to control the recoil of the auto rifle you will be damned surprise by how much damage it can dishout if you proc mostly head shots. Does better than the med-low rate of fire autos. You wont be disappointed... Just don't attempt at a med-long range combat. You need to "play" with your opponents a bit.

I don't use autos a lot, but I really like the Paleocontact on my Hunter. Very stable and good range.

8 AntwortenMonte Carlo is definitely solid. Went Unbroken with it back before the 0.04% buff made it gamebreakingly OP.

Doctrine of passing, that thing melts. I have yet to get one though.

Was never really a fan of the answering chord but I got one with a dirty roll and I use it a lot on my Hunter. Perfect balance, small bore and hidden hand

The trials one has the best time to kill

Quick note. In non leveled crucible if you like the trials auto go grab atheons epilogue out of your vault sometime. It's even better

I love the Monte Carlo but using auto rifles in PVP is so damn difficult

Bearbeitet von zJDz: 12/29/2015 7:51:30 PMSuros regime with spool up is pretty fun, zhalo is good, Monte Carlo is good, and doctrine of passing is good.

Suros Regime has always been a good choice I feel Its got some customization with spinning up and focus fire depending how you like to play and it has glass half full that might heal you as its main perk so you can't go wrong The big thing with any auto is to know your engagement range and damage fall of the weapon, like for example if you try to engage at medium to long range with a Necrochasm you will lose

I like the Monte Carlo

Hackons Ratchet

For pvp? I wouldn't use any of them. For strikes and lower leveled content I love zhalo. Wrecks trash mobs and charges your super very quickly.
-
Doctrine of Passing (Trials Auto) with counterbalance. The rest of the perks are set in stone. OR Buy the auto directly off of Dead Orbit. High stability with rangefinder and third eye.

1 AntwortenSuros arn 33. Its like the doctrine of passing in pvp. 100 for fire rate. Nuff said

3 AntwortenPeople that don't say doctrine of passing have never gotten it.

Doctrine of passing

Zhalo and doctrine of passing are the way to go. If you don't have either go with Monte Carlo.

I got doctrine of passing from my gold tier and I was messing around with my teammates and I was like I'm gonna use it and then someone made a comment about how the impact is about as high as my skill level so then I became serious and actually used it and all I heard was silence from the mic
