Ugh. Thorn. Again.
So apparently quite a few guardians are deciding to pick up thorn again and start using it in the crucible. If you're one of these people, please, put it away. Try another gun. Literally any other gun, preferably. I can tolerate The Last Word. I can't tolerate Thorn. It's a relic of how toxic the Crucible meta used to be and should be forgotten, along with all the other year 1 weapons. Every time I spawn in a rumble match, and I hear that hiss, and my screen turns green, I die a little inside. I also have a question for the people using thorn, do you feel dirty using it, or are you the kind of person to say "it's in the game, I'm going to use it"?
"Stop complaining and enjoy the game." I'm sorry. I really am. I wasn't aware that you've literally never complained about anything in the game before. Also, feedback like this is how the game changes, if it weren't for "complaining" the game would still be the same game we got a year ago. <3

1 AntwortenI never got how people thought thorn was worse than last word, last word's ttk was and still is ridiculous, even though the range isnt good anymore.

Played a elimination match abit ago where two players on the other team used Thorn, first game we won 5-4, second game they won 3-5, third game I swapped to thorn we won 5-0, I got 7 kills no deaths 4 assists and my team mates died 3 times between themselves, other team left after that (Felt really dirty but had to make a point)

Didums get a beatdown by a fellow Thorn user? I use Thorn when I go in to regular crucible. Heck I pretty much use all yr 1 guns in the crucible. Yr1 >Yr2 guns

Looks like everything went back to normal, handcannons are op( tlw and the moony) . There is a new shotgun that kills you from a pretty good distance, i think is the iron banner shotgun. Must of my matches yerterday were people with shotguns. Anyways , is good to see people finding weapons they like. Gg guardians.

I love the feel of handcannons. I always have and hopefully, I always will. I picked up my first curse today but I found that TLW was just better suited for my play style but the only TLW I had was my maxed out year 1 version so I gave it a go. Seeing that it only dropped my light to 298, I could probably get away with using 1 year 1 weapon in IB so I think I may pull out my thorn again just for the nostalgia and the feel of the gun.

Only used it for a day or two. But only because I had finally (somehow) gotten it after I got back on destiny when TTK came out. Had to at least use it a bit before I put it in the volt to collect dust lol. Still can't say it's a bad gun though, just not of much use anymore.

I use thorn because it fits my playstyle. I'm a shotgun at heart and thorn is great for pop shotting those hardscopers. I am also in the air a lot and it's probably the most accurate gun to use while jumping. To be honest, with the campy meta that's going on, I don't feel bad about using it.
