WARLOCKS IN RAID
Please Bungie give the Warlocks a use in raid. The Storm Caller Sub Class is only useful on Golgoroth. But even then only for a short part of the Boss fight to help clear adds. The Sun Singer Sub Class is only useful for self res and that's it. I personally believe that Warlocks are useless in raids and need something that would balance the Warlocks with Titans and Hunters. Titans have their defender subclass and Hunters have their tether. But what do warlocks have?
Please I am not hating on warlocks but I am writing this for the people in the Destiny community who like Warlocks. Thanks if your reading this. Merry Christmas

I main a titan but I play all 3, the warlock is easily my favorite of the 3. Voidwalker is the best subclass of the 3 (wish I could get an extra void grenade though) and Sunsinger allows you to play aggressively and take risks the other classes can't, which I love (love the extra grenade too). Stormcaller, outside of the storm grenade I think is pretty lame but is ok for trash mobs, I'd still rather rip a nova bomb on them. Give me a raid team with all Sunsingers and I'll take it any day. Oryx too, I love titans but they aren't needed for him, they are helpful for sure but not necessary. I watched my wife obliterate Oryx with 5 warlocks and a hunter.

If you use heart chest piece, your radiance causes everyones abilities to charge faster. You can use grenades to spam and clear ads, as well as a lasting burn on the bosses. You just need to learn how to use the warlock is all.

Sunsinger needs better support role but the others are fine. I use Voidwalker for raid because Life Steal can save your ass, we have extremely potent grenades for crowd control, and a nova bomb can clear a wave of adds in the blink of an eye AND I'm not stuck in a timed roaming super so I can get back to DPS.

8 AntwortenHere would be my solution to the problem you have identified. The Sunsinger's main support talent is Song of Flame, which is an underwhelming talent to say the least, and doesn't actually align with any real endgame strategies. I propose two changes. The first is that Song of Flame affects all allies regardless of proximity to the caster. The second is that while Song of Flame is active all ability kills immediately start health regeneration. This would help increase the survivability of the fireteam during critical times. Additionally, the Sunburst talent should apply to all abilities, not just the melee. As well, ability cooldowns affected by Radiance and Song of Flame should ignore the Trickle modifier because that modifier almost completely negates the chief bonuses provided by the ability.

3 AntwortenLol @ this. I main a warlock and run no other subclass then self res sunsinger through all raids and activities. Sunsinger is useful at golgoroth for clearing thrall at his feet while rest of team clear adds up top. Sunsinger is useful at totems to hold the plate if aura glitches out and doesn't transfer to next player. Sunsinger is useful at war priest as he can distract war priest during glyph sequence so no one dies while stepping on plates. Sunsinger is useful at daughters as he can activate super and assist everyone to spam nades at adds while shooting daughters. Sunsinger is useful at oryx for grabbing 4th blight as he don't really have to worry about dying just has to focus on getting that detonation. Sunsinger is useful at oryx for shade stage if for some unknown reason u can't kill shade then warlock dies and self res outside shade bubble to extend the time that little bit to save a wipe. Only part warlocks are a little under prepared for is the relics at start of raid but they work well for clearing adds in mid and opening doors. Oh and sunsinger is also useful for taking out the shrieker and taking the death blast to the face and self res then jump on plate to let rest of team through door. End of evidence provided for warlocks in raids. With this I rest my case.

I never run sunsinger just feel it's a waste. I hardly ever die so I always run stormcaller. I create so many orbs people can use there Supers like every rotation. People feel they're useless because they only have offensive supers.

How are they not useful? 4 warlocks on your fireteam makes for a very easy raid with self res. Even if it's just 1 or 2 self res warlocks that 1-2 less people dying and causing a wipe.

It's not that they are useless. The sun singer is just so strong. Resurrect with a helmet (shields on orb or health) makes you a tank. Flame shield with alchemist rain is dirty good.
