I tend to boot people under 4k for HM oryx. Is this wrong or not? Do you guys think grimoire corrolates to skill? Explain in comments
Edit 1: this post is about oryx, not trials. Stop posting about my .9 kd

16 AntwortenBearbeitet von LunndonBridge: 12/27/2015 9:13:25 PMGrimoire has little to no determination of skill. I have more respect for players who are missing ghost fragments because they refuse to look then up than the ones who have every dead ghost simply because they watched youtube. Thats like 1.5k grimoire you cheated for. Plus exotic weapons have no score and yet the quests to get them are often harder than other accomplishments. Edit: and calcified fragments. The exact grimoire score is about 1150 for dead ghosts, and all 52 fragment cards.

2 AntwortenI understand kicking people for having under 4k Grimoire, but I can carry the people under 315 light.
-
1 AntwortenIf you are 315+ and everyone else is currently 315+ then yes i could understand the boot, but under no circumstances would I accept any connection to grimoire and skill so kicking someone for that to me just seems silly
-
1 AntwortenYou boot people cus they don't watch youtube videos for ghosts and other shit..
-
Light level is arguably something worth being selective with. But grimoire? I mean, I respect high grimoire, but I don't care one bit if it's low. Unjustified.

1 AntwortenNo one knows the VoG days?

1 AntwortenGrimoire absolutely does not correlate to skill.
-
You have 11 oryx kills. I'd boot your ass real quick. After all having a lower number then me automatically makes you a worse player yeah?
-
Casual players like to do raids too...i won't join a team requesting a certain light/grimoire lvl..
-
You're barely higher than 4k. Nice medal score
-
My grimoire is dismal for a vanilla player and I don't think you should Plus u can't say anything about noobs....you have 2 hunters
-
You have to look up Raid stats before booting someone

1 AntwortenYou may have 4,000 grimoire, but your raid KD is trash.
-
-
I'd boot you for that raid kd
-
Your grimoire isn't even high, and I've barely been playing the past three months
-
Grimoire correlates to experience, and I use that term loosely. I have multiple friends who only have around 3K to 3500 grimoire, but are MUCH better at this game than I am, and I believe I almost have 4K.
-
Eh, I have less grimoire than you but 4x your medal score.
-
You are a sad breed of stupid
-
My grimoire could be 4000 plus if I felt like finding all the new ghosts and calcified fragments. But right now it's not. Running around in patrol for ghosts doesn't increase my skill at all
-
The only thing that means is they probably don't have time to play or are like me. A beta player who just got tired of ttk and moved on to other games but run things like the raid nightfall and trials every week. I've hopped into raids with people who beat hm but struggle to open the door for the warpreist.

Personally booting a player for anything other than deliberately causing repeated team wipes or being verbally offensive to other group members and maybe poor connection is uncalled-for, seeing as low skill or lower light levels can usually be overcome or compensated for.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Sideswipe: 12/27/2015 7:22:44 PMHow about asking the truly relevant questions like: 1. Have you beaten Oryx before? 1a. Hard and/or normal? 2. What strategy are you used to? 3. What load out are you/will you be using? ToM? Black Spindle? 4. Can you run relic? Grab Gaze? WP Aura? 5. Will you follow direction/do what's asked of you? Ask these questions first and base your teammates off their answers, not their grimoire.
