The gays are taking over
EDIT: That moment when people are insulting me for being a feminist even though this article has everything to do with science and nothing to do with feminism. I am a feminist, but that's entirely irrelevant to this topic.
EDIT: To al the people saying, "this is unnecessary, you should just adopt because the world is overpopulated and children already alive need homes." Unless you're telling straight people to adopt too, you obviously don't care about overpopulation and parentless children.

13 AntwortenBearbeitet von Recon Number 54: 12/25/2015 5:39:20 PMAs an adopted child in a family where 3 out of 5 of my immediate relatives (mom, my sister, and I) are adopted, I can see that this advance is impressive. However, with so many children born each year in need of loving and caring parents, I (personally) see it as somewhat selfish to go through this sort of effort and cost in order to have children and start a family. But, I also freely admit that I have little to no understanding or personal knowledge of the very profound and deep drive that many people have to know that their children are "half of me and half of someone else". I don't experience that "genetic link" myself, but I do observe the desire and pleasure that some parents get from seeing their own offspring and knowing that their own genes and blood being passed on to future generations. I see it, but I don't feel it. Which is a personal shortcoming of my own, and I know it.

18 AntwortenCure for cancer? Major breakthrough. Solution for world hunger? Major breakthrough Granting same sex couples the ability to have biological kids? Yeah, that breakthrough is EXTREMELY important for mankind.

1 AntwortenMade this real quick because I really don't know how else to respond to it

This is disgusting and revolting. If I was born to gay parents I would kill myself.
-
That....well that....I don't really know how to respond to this...
-
Seems a little unnecessary. Why not adopt?
-
That's pretty neat

4 AntwortenGood for them as long as they can do it safely I'm ok with it. The only way I would have a problem with this is if we started manipulating genes to the point we were designing a human...

6 AntwortenPeople don't like feminist they've built a bad name for themselves over the years. Back to the subject. This is cool and a bit disturbing. This is great for lesbian women, but I don't approve of this form of reproduction.
-
Why are we wasting effort on this when they can adopt and there are better things to spend research money on.
-
14 AntwortenWhy are people complaining about it not being natural? Humans are known for not being natural, that's what puts us on the type of the food chain. For god's sake the screen you're reading this on isnt natural.

7 AntwortenBearbeitet von ClusiveC: 12/27/2015 5:22:50 AMIt is not morally right for a girl to have to grow up with 2 men for her parents.

1 AntwortenTo be honest, I was liberal about same sex marriage and whatnot, because my best friend's parents were awesome people. They are lesbians. I felt supportive. I agree same sex marriage should be ok. But its not natural. It is not natural. It is not biologically natural. It just isn't. Sorry get over it. Its nature. Get a reality check, liberals.

That's gay.

13 AntwortenHmm, that means it still can't be done in a natural manner unless both parents are male and female. Because of this, I'd be willing to bet that the majority of children born like this will have genetic problems.
