Got kicked for running Stormcaller in Kings Fall raid over self rez
The heard me use my super and asked why the hell I was on Stormcaller. My reply was 'because I do not need self rez if I do not get killed, you guys die before I do, might as well make orbs'. Then boom kicked! Why do people feel the need to force self rez?
Edit: For those saying they did it as I sound like a jerk, dick, etc. My reply was after they argued with me about it from Totems all the way to daughters when i gave that reply and got kicked. They had been cussing at me and I was trying to remain calm and finally snapped at them
Edit: Happy Holidays, apparently thats polite to say. To all those saying me PvE KD is bad, yes they are around 20 but that is because I play for fun in regular PvE, I do not care about KD and play fun games with mates in PvE. Seriously what self respecting adult cares about that? If you need I can also photo my achievements to show that I have completed them all for those that say I have hlocked my acheivements. I don't know how I did that

The people who can't survive and need 2 lives play warlocks and therefore us good warlocks who do not die get shit for playing stormcaller. I'm so tired of hearing it's OK I got res in my raids ands I avoid warlocks more often now thanks to it. You don't need self res if you don't die 😊😂

6 AntwortenSelfrez is a crutch. Hoarding supers is a terrible strategy. It has its use on hard mode oryx, but i'd take an orb making, add destroying warlock who can play over a selfressing lock any day.

For everybody saying people who run self res are scrubs, that's not true.. I mean how would you solo oryx without self res? Storm caller him to death? Self res has its places, and the raid is one, it's just nice to have just in case, because I don't care who you are in destiny, if you're the freaking god of the game (like some people's ego would tell them) you die. It happens, it's a mechanic, accept it, deal with it, that's part of the fun

2 AntwortenNow see this is why I dislike warlocks in a sense, because of self red some people are just so bad that they have that as security blanket and I don't understand how some people die in raids over and over like I'm a Titan and I've never experienced playing a warlock but my friend tells me it teaches you how to play like and Idiot one time lol with the self rez but you're a legit warlock not needing that subclass to define you as a warlock really impresses me thank you for saying this statement and merry Christmas

1 AntwortenI run Sunsinger with self rez as my main and even I think self rez is broken. It just shouldn't be in the game but it is and gear even revolves around it so I don't expect it to ever go away. I wish I could use those other perks but Fireborn is way more useful. People can be real jerksnobs about such tiny little details for raids. Does anyone remember actually doing the raids without relying on specific gear or perks? I do, and it was fun. We didn't need max light with Gally and self rez, we just needed another person.

1 AntwortenWhy are the forums waging war against this guy? Storm caller is a completely viable super in the raid and is probably the best ad clearance super at the moment. If actually been kicked for running self Rez before because I "am a scrub if I need it"

I can understand why someone would want you to change. But to be honest if someone starts ragging you for your class type or setup, it's best to just leave and not deal with the hassle. That's why I raid with real world friends. Way less stress.

Plus you really shouldn't die at Golgoroth, because 1) it's easy to stay alive and 2) self-Rez doesn't help much when you're completing the tablet of ruin. I run sun singer most of the way just because I love the solar grenades.

Yeah i feel your pain. I usually run Voidwalker. I get yelled at for not using self rez, then I get called a noob for using self rez.

1 AntwortenYour teammates are lame. The only time you should require that is if said lock is being carried and dies a lot; even then I'm not sure about a carry. I do prefer using a sun singer for pve but not for the self res; I enjoy the over shield and AOE solar grenades. Also, k/d in pve is stupid. Many times people die for others wipes which lowers said number and some people don't patrol/strike/etc to pad said number.

People on lfg like to blame all their faults on others. I've been blamed for the "whole raid going bad" when I didn't die once, but the guy accusing me died many times on totems, wp, maze oh my God the maze, sisters, and oryx he was just spaghetti. The same people call for nerfs because they blame all their deaths on a certain gun instead of their derpyness
