Bungie's "Gift"
Imagine there is an apple tree outside your house. From this tree you can get as many apples as you want provided you take the time to go and pick them (which is not very much time).
Now you have a friend who tells you he has a gift for you. So you get excited as you should when someone teases you.
Now after all your waiting your friend finally gives you your gift... it's a small bag of apples. Upon further examination you notice these are no different then the apples from the tree out side your house.
Are you wrong for being ungrateful?

2 AntwortenI'll reserve judgement until the third mystery gift is revealed, but so far it's looking to be a pretty "meh" experience. I also think the "spoiled brat" comments are silly. This isn't your friend, or any other human being for that matter, giving you a present you don't really need (apples or otherwise). This is a company trying to maintain the favor of its customers/consumers. It's about PR and keeping the masses happy and playing, not generosity or the "Christmas Spirit." I should also point out that this "gift" doesn't cost Bungie anything. Sorry to be so cynical, but that's the reality. And so far, 15 coins and 15 motes of light doesn't make me want to keep playing in the slightest.

2 AntwortenHonestly I'm with you, I know it's a gift but really dude I could cap out 15 coins and do 3 bounties and get 15 motes I see this as a gift for the new kids getting destiny on Christmas and not a gift for players who have stuck by them through all of this.... at least last year I got a legendary auto rifle from them.

People like this should get a "coal" debuff that removes 20 coins and 20 motes from their characters upon logging on the day of the gift.

7 Antworten15 coins is enough to get a free exotic from xur. Be happy and be grateful. They are a company that really doesn't give a shit about how their customers feel except for when someone screams nerf. I do think that its stupid that they advertised exotics that are time gated and we still cannot get them. However no one cares if you are un-grateful and you will get the strange coins no matter what. They didn't have to give us anything and it's our fault for believing in false advertising that made us buy this game. Yes I think some of the things Bungie has done is stupid. However we all decided to buy this game and the crypt-arch is laughing at us.
