Bungie's "Gift"
Imagine there is an apple tree outside your house. From this tree you can get as many apples as you want provided you take the time to go and pick them (which is not very much time).
Now you have a friend who tells you he has a gift for you. So you get excited as you should when someone teases you.
Now after all your waiting your friend finally gives you your gift... it's a small bag of apples. Upon further examination you notice these are no different then the apples from the tree out side your house.
Are you wrong for being ungrateful?

At least it's free resources, but can we get a nifty hat for our characters instead of an emblem. Unless the emblem looks nice, in which case I'm fine with that.

I get where you are coming from. It seems like most Destiny players don't actually want to play the game though, they just want a max level character they can PvP/Race with. They don't actually like videogames for the experience, but the competition, because they are little more than overly intelligent apes wanting to see who has the biggest stick.

1 AntwortenYes but now think it this way. That bag of apples has sparred you from the work to get it. Your friend or brother whatever has done great things for you before. And also your brother gave you a bag of pears. With the apples you can even trade for a nice new piece of gear. So instead of complaining think about the good things Bungie has done. With SRL I've gotten my light to 315. If anything Bungie has the right to give us "crap" as you would see. All this community does is bitch and moan. Players think there entitled to everything. And you watch how much people will bitch and moan more with Bungies gift to the players.

I think you're ready for the gift of stopping playing this game. And I don't mean that in an aggressive way, I mean, if you're tired of Bungie's shit like many of us are, despite loving the game, just leave. Stop playing. It feels so good to be free, m8. Hopefully when we return someday this will be the game it should have always been.

Last year it was a legendary weapon, what made it okay was that TDB was only out 2 weeks so getting a TDB weapon was fine. This year who the hell knows, let alone who cares. I'm expecting nothing to be honest. That or disappointment.

3 AntwortenI agree with those that say free is free but I agree more that 15 & 15 is pretty lame. After a couple days of dailies and bounties I can end with about 40 coins and 100 motes. I did notice they have a question mark in the gift, maybe that'll be something cool. Hopefully not something I regularly get from engrams.

Well Bungie is like my grandma. She gets me a half eaten bag of skittles and I have to act grateful because otherwise I'm rude. My grandma is very frustrating.
