Is it worth to grind the exotic sword
Need help getting the exotic solar sword im at the last part where i need to kill the solar knight and alakhul. Psn is ThaBombardier

I just finished up my third one last night, it's completely worth it. If you can unlock all three on one character, it will save you time for the 25 crucible kills and killing the gate lords within 15 seconds of each other. Just complete those steps on one character, transfer your other swords to that character and infuse all three past 280 and it should give you the farming rare elements as the next step for all three sword quests.

Not really. Once you get a decent heavy like the raid machine gun you won't use it very much.

1 AntwortenUse the hilt. It takes 2 hits with no ammo. But you'll get it done mate. It will take you 4 or 5 games. Or less if your good at it.

The only part of any of the exotic sword quests ive had a problem with is the relic crystal for dark drinker. They just will not pop from relic iron no matter what haha

(Once you get one then you buy the missing element sword (say I have the void and want solar) and upgrade it above 280 and fill the extra node. Then tall to Shaxx and he will give you the exotic sword quest. It skips right to the farm legendary materials and ability kills part. You skip the crucible part altogether that way.)

3 AntwortenGo into mayhem rumble, heavy spawns faster. You can also get kills with the hilt. Once you get an exotic sword, buy and level the other swords up with the same character you got the exotic with. You get to skip the crucible part and go straight to material harvest.

I dont think it is. Sure, running around on patrol and slicing enemies is fun, but in the raid using an exotic sword takes away from using a spindle. I use my legendary 310 sword way more.

Totally worth it. Like many have said use the nub (hilt) in rumble and just lurk and smack people. You'll be done in 30-45 min tops.

Hell yea I did all three on one character after the PVP part and am glad they are thru. All three of the rest of the quests sucks but once done they destroy!

Yes, absolutely awesome for nightfalls, turns vip public events trivial, makes getting the spindle infinitely easier, and are just outright fun to use...need I say more?
