Is it worth to grind the exotic sword
Need help getting the exotic solar sword im at the last part where i need to kill the solar knight and alakhul. Psn is ThaBombardier

All 3 exotics are fun in their own way. Solar is good for the vessel in oryx. I'm using the void for add control in the nightfall and arc can be fun in pvp

The Dark Drinker was the only thing that made me worth a damn in the Black Spindle mission. I just love going all Tasmanian Devil on the Taken.

Worth it. Solar if you're all about damaging the big guys, Void if you like to be in the middle of the action, and Arc if you don't want em to know what hit em.

HINT: move ALL swords over to one character, infuse them, and level up the experience bubbles to proc the Exotic Quests for all three at the same time... you'll only have to get all the Crucible kills ONCE and it counts for all three. If you can't get heavy ammo you can always "candlestick" guardians for a sword kill... it takes two melees with no ammo for a kill. Doing all three at the same time cuts a significant amount of grinding off of the quests. When you get to the last step... the Strike... the Arc sword is the easiest to get first... the Arc Knight the only one that doesn't shoot at you. IF you have a good fire team it's possible to do all three at once... I just did 'em one at a time with some randies... make sure to and pop your ToCs you may get something else for the effort.

PvE wise it's amazing and PvP wise if you get the arch one ya it's pretty good go for it!

All of the swords are modified Ghorns for close range combat. Rocket launchers? Machine guns? Say whaaaaaaaa?

The Arc sword- meh Solar- best for use against ultras with incredible amounts of HP Void- Ninja skills against ads.
