The most common reasons for Death in Destiny
- Hunter suicide with Tripmine Grenades
- Risking it for heavy ammo
- Thorn
- Fireteam betrayal via pushed off ledges (thanks RashFire)
- Messing up in Jumping puzzles or just plain Jumps (Thanks again RashFire)
- Getting mad and doing worse (Thanks Rashfire)
- Suicide with Rocket launcher (Thanks sneak attack)
- Phalanx Launch (Thanks iReflex Epic)
- Tripping over that one step or rock for cover (Thanks Grim619, Donskoops, Alcanterrosim)
- To all of you not very creative people: "getting shot" or "bullets"(Thanks alot everyone, for being so creative)
- Wiping in a raid because someone else messed up (Thanks Thirtyfour)
- Blinking off the map ( thanks pRaYcHaOs)
- Shooting yourself in water (thanks JakeFrmStatefarm)
- Those damn spinning blades on mars
- Your lightning grenade blasting right back into your face (There are lots of you suggesting this, thanks)

I saw one of my buddies move forward a few steps and launch in the air and across the board. So me being curious, I walk to the same spot and launch to where my buddy got catapulted, hilarity ensued. Another one was on the KF raid and for some reason bungie has blessed me with friendly fire. I'm on my titan and we are doing totems and a couple thrull reached the plate. So I start in with some fisticuffs. Next thing I know the thrulls are dead and I just watch my buddy's hunter fly into the pillar. Guardian down. This happened two other times to different team mates. I've also been launched out of Mars' orbit by phalanxes, sh!t was beautiful.

You jump, launch your super, and it makes you drift just a liiiittle too far over that gap.

Throwing a Nova Bomb that hits floating space particles right in front of you and you blow yourself up instead.

I was doing patrol in the Cosmodrome on my hunter. When you're going to the right from the start, there's this little building leading to next area, right? So I tried to park my sparrow on the stairs leading to said building. Jumped off my sparrow to the left side and BOOM Guardian down! I have no idea how that could happen. Guess I was too close to the wall. It was almost as quick as when you try to jump out during SRL.
