Borderlands 2 also had four complete expansion packs, two new characters, four(or was it five? I can't remember) mini expansion packs, three different modes(11 if you count OP 1-8), and a bazillion guns. I think the best part was no pvp. There was no "My e-penis is bigger than yours because I killed you in pvp" like there is in this game.

They introduced pvp in the first Borderlands game which no one played. The pvp portion was mocked in the Borderlands community. In Borderlands 2 they introduced the 'Duel' which everyone used to duplicate items with their friends or with another character that you also had. You can't compare the pvp game modes between Borderlands and Destiny - I'm not trying to; but boy did I love my Borderlands...
