Damn teleporting ogres!!!!! No matter what we tried ,an ogre would teleport on the last shade phase every single time .....
Edit: just to say, our team was able to get to the 3rd shade phase every try, but ogres kept porting, normally the 3rd or 4th ogre, did anyone have this also. And what did you do to stop it. Want to make sure it doesn't happen next time
Edit: Also I really like this strategy. I think I will be doing it this way from now on, it makes it go faster I think. And you have less to worry about

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von SIAL0QUENT: 12/22/2015 3:17:22 PMNope, my Wi-Fi router is a toaster and I kept lagging out. I fixed the issue last minute, but couldn't find a good group on LFG.

Did it on 3 characters on Tuesday with no ogre troubles. I never noticed them teleporting but I believe it has something to do with all of the ads on the map cause before instead of having them teleport that short distance it'd crash the game in the prebuild same reason why the had to make taken thrall teleport in order to prevent game crashing

Did it eight times with my squad successfully. We had an ogre teleport here and there. The trick is you have to DPS them fast and take him down fast

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von MR_H66: 12/22/2015 3:19:02 PMGot it done on all 3 characters. Final run we did it with 5 since our weak-link kept going down after first shade. Did it both ways as well (up top and center). Didn't find a weapons bubble necessary for titans unless one of them was low light level. Usually ran 2 blessing bubbles. Easy peasy.
-
Did it first night 3 times in about 2 hours
-
Thats bungies strategy to make it harder

Here! Me! I did!

Got it done twice. We found having 2 Titans stack blessing and weapons bubbles on ground in middle just melted ogres. Had 3 plate people do their Knights, Titan takes 4th knight while runner used raze lighter on vessel.
-
Did it 5x. 3 of those times were with LFG teams. Got wiped a few times by teleporting ogres and the random guy dying when he teleports out of the bubble after killing the shade. Did it using both strategies, i.e. on top of the Sister's platforms to stun Oryx and kill ads & staying in the middle. I found being on the Sister's platforms to be easier since you didn't have to worry about ads before Oryx slammed and you had a much better vantage point to take out the 4th knight (or one of the others if someone couldn't kill theirs)

8 AntwortenI found some good random groups was able to get my mercy and mida 320 as well as my helmet. Rocking all 320 gear except for a 319 mark. Praying to rnjesus for 320 mark this week to make me 320

Bearbeitet von OneNightInEris: 12/22/2015 2:56:16 PMThankfully didn't encounter this problem but we always ran just blessings and used a blessings in shade I honestly didn't see the need for a weapons in middle

Ogres only teleport if they get staggered more than twice whilst near a wall with a blight next to it. You have to have the plates at least throw a grenade at the ogres that does DOT so the titans on top have it easier killing them.
-
I did it with no teleporting ogres

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Perceptor: 12/22/2015 2:45:24 PMDid it on all 3 characters. Found it easier to kill my ogres from the platform with sleepers than having Tom equipped

Finished all the challenges with every character. all with lfg groups. Some good and some bad. but i enjoyed the challenges ( or lack there of). Oryx, we ran both strats (depending on what the group wanted) i found the bottom strat was the safest one. Since everyone was there and can see everything. ( killing vessel, and 4th knight.) We had our fair share of teleporting ogres which was annoying. But also having the blights randomly detonate on us. (We had all knights down btw). This was by far the "hardest" challenge given to us thus far. Warpriest and golgoroth were simple. Oryx definetly had to be done flawlessly.

Kick the lagger out

Who cares, stop asking this question

Finally last night at 11pm, the challenge was really to get a good fireteam off LFG.
-
Twice on my hunter. It really is the best strategy (though I may be biased, considering I'm always the relic runner)
-
Yeah if the ogres are not dps fast enough they teleport and mess up everything. You can get the Eric runner to explode that blight tho. We used 2 Titans on our runs with weapons and blessings. Ogres died in a couple of seconds. We had good and bad groups too where someone always died and we had to boot him or we wouldn't have competed it.

6 times man, helped some buddies finish it. Did you do the 'double bubble' in mid strategy?

Completed

Bearbeitet von Trek: 12/22/2015 2:41:00 PMI don't know how people are having so many problems with teleporting ogres. We had a couple of runs where they did this, but once the person who was red barring left, it was perfect. Also, we did the 2 titans in the middle with blessing and weapons strat, so the ogres got melted before they'd even finished climbing out of their holes.

Did it once. All I could stomach. Loot drops were like Christmas.
