Are nightfall rewards for effort fair? My two cents and say no. // 373 posts and still no Bungie response. Time will tell.
Simply put. Two runs, and I get a 295 legendary helmet for my hunter (who's 313) and then I get..Lord save me, a 290 ghost shell for my Titan (at 303).
Yeah. I just got six legendary marks. Not. Worth. It. Pretty sure others have had the same luck -- or maybe have gotten lucky. But these -blam!-ing things? Shouldn't be dropping like this. It was like this last week, too. And, the week before. I've gotten now on total 5 vanguard shells from the last 3 weeks of Nightfalls. For the love of god y

Please explain how Nightfall rewards are balanced/logical for it's difficultly and time consumption? This is just outright stupid. For those who actually DO get blessed by RNGesus, glad to hear. But my luck seems to be in the shitter 24/7 with Nightfalls now. This is just utterly demotivating, honestly.
//EDIT: Fair to say everyone is (or at least 85%) extremely disappointed in the way Nightfalls are managed.

So as a prior individual in here said -- [b]I'd like to see a option to alter the difficulty to a 310 level, or maybe even max light level -- For superb difficulty, required coordination from fireteams (which would garner more community interaction and communication), Forced orbiting on wipe, and greatly increased (if not guarenteed max-level drops once-per-week with a high exotic chance) loot system drops for those who achieve victory. Does any of this sound feasible?[/b]
//EDIT 3: It seems most players have reached a consensus that Nightfalls need an added difficulty level and loot-table for higher light-level players -- Which would allow for the nightfall to remain mid-tier gameplay to allow growth into Raid-level capability, and allow for the higher-tier players who are so limited in their choices of progressing to max-light level (AKA, a 310 light level difficulty). Would this be beneficial to the community if this was implemented?

Well this week I got the bones, and my two mates got a 306 ghost and a 308 mark. Considering we don't play more than once every couple weeks I'd say the rewards weren't too bad...tho I miss my blue fire.

I think the crap like emotes should be an extra reward on top of what you get so you get gear and other stuff. I dont want emotes but if they want to keep them as rewards dont have them take place of what could be gear. As for gear the stats need to be closer to what our light is. If you're over 300 they shouldnt be below 300. If its an exotic just make it 310, its not going to break the game.

Last week nothing I can use on all three...this week once and a ghost I cant use....this game reward system is getting pathetic....dont get me wrong love the team stuff...but this game is starting to wear on me

I got hosed twice last night. First I soloed all the way to the final boss. An LFGer I friended shows up in the final fight. We kill the boss he gets an exotic I get. A useless ghost. Second time I joined a friend to speed his butt up so we could raid. And I got another useless ghost. Night falls ain't worth it.

Yep, rewards should be relevant to your current light level. At least they increased the rep for your chosen faction again. Personally, I miss the week long rep boost & flame effect above my head.

Only done a couple nightfall. Haven't gotten anything memorable. I think the best thing was honestly a stack of 3oc. Shax bounties give me mostly 19 sc.

I'd say the rewards needs some tweaks. If it still kicked you to orbit I'd say it needs some major tweets.

The last set of changes had the right idea. Still needs to be adjusted to make it more enticing. Drop items at higher gear levels. Maybe higher required light? Option for difficulty? Because it's 280 the gear'll be around there. Maybe have a higher light variant that has the kick to orbit modifier.

At the end of the day the rewards are not great most of the time but you have to remember that it is only a 280 light strike, where most people are now 300+ easily. and without being kicked to orbit if everyone dies there is no longer that fear factor of putting yourself amongst the fire. plus if its ever a solar/arc/void burn modifier the strike lasts less than 10 minutes Nightfalls are piss easy now, and the rewards imo reflect that. I'd personally prefer to have nightfalls back to where they were in year 1

Get better rewarded for driving two laps of srl and sitting there until your engram and 320 helmet drops. Nightfall is officially pathetic.

What's so difficult & time consuming about it......I mean you don't even get kicked back to orbit anymore.

I can't complain this week I got some gauntlets on one hunter broke them down got a 310 conviction and 310 no one beyond last week only remember that I got the 310 Monte Carlo

People that think there not fair need to try lord shaxx bounties. They take way longer then doing nightfall on 3 characters and give the same if not worse rewards. Ahhhhj bungie at its finest as usual.
