The lies, the blatant greed, and their ineptitude put me off.

1 AntwortenMaybe we should all open our eyes and see that this isn't just one sided. Bungie is to blame also

1 AntwortenIve seen you post a long time ago you stopped playing destiny. Then why are you still over the forums. Stop complaining and go somewhere else

Bungie & Activisions deal, and the loss of Marty.

2 AntwortenActivision would ruin anything for a bit of extra cash. Would love to see bungie move away from them and have total creative freedom.

1 AntwortenIt went down the wrong path when they made the Dead Orbit scarves ugly and made our frabjous Year 1 cloaks useless. Mantle of Gheleon, wherefore art thou???

4 Antwortenhttps://youtu.be/s2Lc2ZWWwhA Listen to the lyrics but replace "Maggie" with Bungie

One year before it's 2014 launch, the executives (or something like that) decided that what was presented to them by Joseph Staten (the write of the game at the time) wasn't good enough and wanted to re-haul everything. Through a lot of butthurt and bullshit, Staten left BUNGIE (and sued them for cutting wages or something (he won)) and now we're presented with the story of what we have.

I loved the -blam!- outta this game when it came out, when TDB came it went to shit. I play here and there when I get really bored (mostly waiting for Gamefly shit).

1 AntwortenI still enjoy playing. But the social aspect is certainly lacking now. A lot of the guys I used to raid with don't play any more. Some didn't buy ttk. No raid in how really turned off a lot of players I think I'm Still hooked. But I'm no fool. Time and time again bungie have allowed the hype train to build to get the player base excited. And every time they've disappointed. They let our imaginations run away because they know it sells. The game would be so much better if it was aimed at veteran/competitive gamers (18+). But it seems more targeted towards kids. I really hope that the lack of dlc in year 2 is because bungie are really putting effort into destiny2. I'm sure more mature players understand that the restraints of old gen consoles have really held the game back from achieving its true potential. I guess time will tell........

It's not shit it's just not what it was hyped to be. Expectations were not surpassed and faith on it was crushed to bits. You can still play destiny and have a good time but knowing what a great game it could of been still leaves a bitter taste in our mouths.

I blame Deej! ;oD
-
Greed does
-
Expectations used as advertising, and all the wasted potential noticed in the first month.

7 AntwortenNo optional matchmaking didnt help leaving about 60% of players never stepping foot in a raid.
