The lies, the blatant greed, and their ineptitude put me off.

2 AntwortenHonestly the game is going through its natural stage. Games naturally go down the drain the longer they are being supported. It's games that have no support that truly last forever.
-
The 'turning point' a few months before release.
-
1 AntwortenThe unbalanced pvp.
-
The lack of dedicated servers for pvp and the lead story writer quitting before the game was released.
-
2 AntwortenThe issue is no one know what direction to take the game in and it's ripping it appart. Either spend resources for nice big content updates for pve and separate pvp to make it it's own entity or only focus on pvp and let pve die. Personally I think pvp should be totally separate from pve. All items aquire in pve are pve only and can't be used in pvp. Pvp should have its own stock weapons and armors and should be based on skill not everyone trying to be in the current meta then screaming nerf which just waste time and money for bungie. That time and money could be used to add huge exploreable areas. It could be spent to actually have a story line. It could be spent to actually have enough content to where you have multiple raids to choose from weekly. But that's just my opinion.

4 AntwortenThey worked on it for like 6 years....then scrapped it and started over 9 months before release....doesn't make sense
-
The story that was getting worked on for years was scrapped a year before launch and the person who made it was fired. They then filled it in with this new chopped up story and cut up a large portion of the game because $$$$. Everything that has been released, except for sparrow racing, was supposed to be in the original game. Some people don't agree but the art that came out weeks before TTK was leaked before destiny even came out multiple exotics were also in trailers before the game came out but only showed up when they released DLC's. Perfect example is with obsidian mind. In a trailer before launch of destiny, was released with TDB. Honestly, if everything we have now came with the original game, Destiny would be amazing.

When most of the crew that made Bungie a good company left.
-
The kids crying for nerf Nerf nerf nerf Nerf nerf nerf Nerf nerf nerf Nerf nerf nerf Nerf nerf nerf Nerf nerf nerf Nerf nerf nerf Nerf nerf nerf OBVIOUSLY!
-
The crucible community getting every gun in the game nerfed, or Bungie's inability to separate PvP from PvE when nerfing.
-
The constant grind of new light systems every dlc (infusion system being the worst in my opinion), and then micro transactions finished it off.
-
The fact that they scrapped the original story and remade a Frankenstory that sucked right before launch and didn't have time to add in everything they promised.

6 AntwortenAll year one. Worthless. All year 2 will probably worthless again. Oh yeah and the freaken lag in PvP. It's just sad.

5 AntwortenActiviston and Sony

Ive been okay with everything to be honest but lately I just find myself being baited into spending money. I almost bought another copy to do the dumb refer a friend deal. Spending cash on emotes and sparrows. I get its a business but I feel like they just charge what they can get away with. There is no value to the player or consumer at all.

1 AntwortenThe community and the constant bitching for nerfs.

1 AntwortenIt's Bungies sword logic! They hacked the game to pieces and fed it to the moneyworm, their god. We are helpless against their acausal weapons who rend reality to shreds and make us pay for skipping content we already paid for!
-
14 AntwortenGotta admit though , how many console no games are still so relevant tgis long after release? They got something right
-
1 AntwortenEGO! When you have one side with ideas, another side with ideas, ego's clash. Bungie lost people who TRIED to deliver the game we saw over two years ago, but most of their ideas were scrapped. That lead to talented people leaving Bungie.
-
4 AntwortenActivi$ion happened. They're the destroyer of all great games; I'm sure Bungie is fighting them behind closed doors, but in the end activi$ion gets the last word.. but Bungie takes the brunt of our frustrations.
-
1 AntwortenIt hasnt gone to shit, but they just dont communicate or intereact with their community. That will sink the ship
-
2 AntwortenTime, there aren't many console games that can go 16 months and still keep people as engaged as launch month. Destiny could be hitting it's wall unfortunately. I've invested tons of time in it and regardless of what people think it's definitely a top 5 personal all time favorite. I'll still be around in case something drops to allow me an excuse to come back for more grinding. (I.e. Iron Banana next week)

2 AntwortenThe community -blam!-ed it pretty hard, too.
