..players who run the no knight strat. The amount of players who fail to land 2 shots on a virtually stationary target is staggering.
Have we really fallen that far? To a point where the majority of raiders, regardless of light level, can't even snipe a simple red-bar knight?
Surely these aren't the same raiders who landed consistent icebreaker shots on Atheons glitchy crit-spot while he C-Walked around his podium, or wielded their black hammers like Lex Steele, vaporizing the CE swordbearer the instant he spawned. Right?
The no-knight strategy was designed to be used as a crutch for inexperienced, underlevelled, or poorly skilled players. Using it, a weak player could still complete the activity by offloading all their responsibility onto the relic runner and ogre killers. There is no reason to still be using it if you're in any way decent. You're making the fight harder than it needs to be.
I swear, the amount of no-knight plate-loiterers who openly criticize the relic runner whenever he gets lit up by an ogre is insane.
"Dude!, stop dying! Why do you keep getting killed?".
Because you're too incompetent to snipe a simple add with a huge crit-spot, that spawns in the exact same place and follows a pre-determined path. That's why.
Edit: Lol, at the offended knight-shy players. Did I hit a nerve?

1 AntwortenIt's hilarious and disappointing a at the same time. I do regular strat since day 1 with my clan. Was able to do 2 challenge modes with them last Tuesday no problem. Next night I get on to do challenge with my third toon, no go. Next night, no go. Next night, no go. Until Saturday night I was able to find a semi competent team that was able to complete it. I was floater with weapons, taking out ogres very easily. We get to 16, someone doesn't understand "wait outside bubble and go in from -blam!-down." Clear ads, "stand by your bubble....3....2.." *Dumb ass has detonated 4 bombs"...."wtf are you doing?" Everyone rushes, gets all detonations. Other 3 die, 3 left to stagger. Doesn't happen. Happened 4 times like that until we finally got it

Did the no knights last night didnt complete it players dying to get to the top platform, guy ran to the wrong bomb -blam!-s dying on the platform.... i left hafter 3 wipes we could even get 1 phase done we all over 317 all 4 out of the 6 had the emblem lol when people get to oryx they make harder than it needs to be

10 AntwortenBearbeitet von WSox 35th: 12/22/2015 3:56:04 PMYou're obviously a no knighter yourself because us knight killers know for a fact the knight isn't the problem. It's the acolyte eyes blasting you in the face jerks like you are what make it hard you just kill your knight and leave the rest of the adds for everyone else. Then you scream what the hell just killed me bungie fix your game wtf etc etc....

Killing ogres makes it easier for runners
-
Lol lex Steele
-
Knight vs. No Knight isn't really that big of a difference. Having a good runner is more important.
-
Oryx tonight was awesome. Looks like challenge mode has converted quite a few players into knight killers. Ran 2 super smooth raids back to back earlier. Met a few great guys who were all down to kill knights with me and my crew. Such a refreshing change to hear "so were killing everything right?" Fk yeah!
-
Didn't get a chance to try it due to work and girlfriend, but it looks fun and seems like a better strategy than the normal way or no knights.
-
Everybody left, I thought we went over this? You grind for weapons that get nerfed
-
Lol took this serious till I saw your poverty light level.

I agree 100% percent. This and single orb golgoroth should be fixed.

Uhhhh no?

2 AntwortenBoth the no knight strategy and the original way of doing things are viable strategies. I've been in groups that make both look like a breeze. I actually got to help a group that did "no knight" exclusively complete the challenge this last week and they did great. One strategy eliminates risk on 5 fronts while placing more risk on the Brand Claimer. That's pretty much it. I do not understand this exclusivity and elitism for people that run it one way and look down their noses at people for running it the other. Completely unnecessary.
-
2 AntwortenDo no knight start every time. Did Oryx hm challenge first time go. If you're a smart, adaptable player, they're both easy.
-
Nailed it right on the head. Nice post.
-
23 AntwortenI do no knight and beat this 3x no problem. No knight is harder give us some credit.
-
1 AntwortenReal raiders don't cheese... Unless it's Crota's end XD
-
I completely agree, the no knight strat is a pointless waste of time that comes to show how many of the "pros" couldn't shoot a target. It was ridiculous when I found teams that said, "either do no knight strat or leave".
-
I usually run no Knight with my group. With the same group we cleared the Oryx challenge in less than 5 tries (would've been in 3 but teleporting ogres had other plans).
-
Idk bro. Running relic for a no knight squad is pretty hardcore even they can't take the ogres aggro

2 AntwortenI run the no knight strat, but I suppose I'm an exception because the oryx challenge was a walk in the park. It was easier than the no knight strat to me.
-
2 AntwortenWhat happens if you don't kill the Knights compared to killing the Knights?
-
2 AntwortenI've never run the no-knight strategy so I'm not sure what it entails. It seems like it would just make the encounter more difficult? I dunno, I don't raid a whole lot so my team usually puts me on a plate, where I have to put a little D on the ogre to help the ogre killers, then I was told to snipe the knight across from me. It was a very easy job so I feel like I'm not understanding something...like, why use the no-knight method when the correct way is so easy? Seriously asking, btw...not trying to be a dick.

The no knight strat is for scrubs, simple and plain.
