Because charging someone for something and then locking it away for a year is the issue. If you aren't charged for it it's sort of stupid but it's not all that bad because you aren't paying for something you might never actually get. Take for instance the current ps exclusive weapons and armor in Destiny. I payed the exact same amount as anyone else for TTK but I'm not ever going to see those weapons I payed for because I've got Halo 5 to play and it doesn't suck like Destiny. I payed for that content and because they locked it away for a year I won't get it. With a full game you just pay a year later. Maybe at that point you don't like that kind of game and can decide you don't want to play it. You keep the money that content cost.
It's not really something I'm for, excluding games from a console, but it's not an eternal exclusive and you aren't being forced to pay for something you might never play so it's not as big of a deal. It's more of a moderate annoyance. That's why I would have been fine with the Xbox version of Destiny being cheaper and then letting us buy a add on after the deal ran out and get those exclusive weapons.

When you get your head round the fact you paid for what was advertised, then you'll understand. Like I said before, you are not entitled to content just because it exists.

You are entitled to what you payed for. What was going to be exclusive wasn't advertised. And furthermore we were advertised that we'd get them, just a year letter but it was payed for with the initial buy meaning that it was bought and the.n kept away for a year. It's like buying a movie but you don't get to see the end until a year later but you have to pay for all of it up front.
