Anyone else having these issues with their Bladedancer?
Arc Blade hits not registering. I've literally hit someone 3 times before they finally die.
Grenades feel underwhelming and lack killing potential.
You're ripped to pieces while in your super. I've been massacred lately while in my super.
Blink seems extremely unresponsive and difficult to use.
What's going on here? The Bladedancer used to be my favorite class. Why is it every patch it seems like Bladedancers are getting worse thanks to bugs and over nerfed abilities. This doesn't bode well for the future =(
*Edit* lots of great responses! Glad to see the community mostly agrees on this subject. We've been done a major injustice lately but with the Titan nerfs and all the recent changes I can't complain much. I mostly want my hits to register a kill that's the biggest issue. Thanks everyone!
**Edit** Almost 1000 comments! Woot! Keep it up guardians =)

Agreed it's got one of the supers that you are most likely to die from using. Armour needs an increase as does hit detection.

Laaaaaaag

Bearbeitet von SimpleChimp275: 12/19/2015 12:30:22 PMIt's the maps, the old shotgun maps were perfect for blade dancers, but the current meta only allows for snipers, and so do the maps! There are no tight corners to surprise people with an almighty flurry of lightning infused dagger swings! Whyyyyyy!

Bearbeitet von ConnorCT10: 12/19/2015 12:23:34 PMArc blade is the only unbalanced super. It needs a buff as it can be countered by everything. If a Titan is gliding backwards u cannot connect. Hits take 3 attacks to register and arcblade also suffers the most from lag. Grenades are now the worst and blink is prob the worst jump. The whole subclass needs to be worked on Only reason people use it is for QuickDraw

4 AntwortenAecbolts only do 91 instead of 112 :l
-
That and arc blade damage really needs a buff in PvE. It's useless with shadowshot being so good at crowd control.
-
Hunters super armors are way to low..compared to other supers it's minimal at best lol..I miss when blade dancer worked...still main it for trials but still

5 AntwortenDon't forget they nerfed flux grenades too

Hit detection needs a fix, no need to have to slash someone 3 times just to kill them and already waste over half your super on 1 person or knifing someone and they can just walk it off without taking any damage
-
It's good you just got to play smart with it and use it in close quarters
-
I've mained arcblade since the beginning. The only thing that's wrong is shortstopping swings and the hit detection. Everybody knows it.

I remember when playing BD in crucible was almost the same as Sunbreaker pre-patch. *Glorious electrifying, shit your pants when their super popped action*

The super is completely useless, I don't even use it most matches. Arcbolt used to be the go-to for grenades, but since the nerf, totally not worth using. The blink cooldown always messes me up as well (I use it defensively as an escape) and when it just doesn't trigger, it suuuuucks. Loving skip grenades to replace bolts though, and perks like quickdraw make it worth playing a class that I pretty much consider as one with no super, now. I really hope that arc blade gets a look soon, idk why it wasn't addressed in the class balancing in the last update. They could've fixed arc blade instead of buffing strikers like nobody asked for.

Found I can do no damage at all after hitting someone with 3 hammers or more...lol. They have obviously f*cked something up with the latest patch.

As a year 1 Bladedancer primary... I stand by you in saying, "bungi, why did we have to get -blam!-ed." *Raises three fingers and begins to whistle mockingjay*

Yes, a lot of problem like hit detection during arcblade
-
It was nerfed.

3 AntwortenI've actually found myself using bladedancer more lately, especially in PvP. Arc blade can 2 hit a hos and 1 hit a stormcaller. I really don't see any issue with it.
-
Either fixed hit detection or BRING BLINK BACK
seriously, FIXED THE HIT DETECTION
-
I would like to see the old blink back. Since shotguns got hit pretty hard there is nothing much to worry about. Maybe just leave the weapon ready delay as it is right now. Arcbolt nade needs the old range. The damage nerf was enough imo (so you can't wipe whole teams in trials with just 2 arcbolts). I really hope that bungie will rebalance hunter and warlock subclasses like they did with titans.

I've been having trouble with melee not registering like they should as well. Last night I meleed someone that had half health with stormfist. The guy went from half health to 1/4 with a stormfist hit. Not to entice the shoulder charge hits sometimes aren't registering as well
-
1 AntwortenI feel the same way. I rocketed a bladedancer, it didn't kill him and it only took his shield away.
-
3 AntwortenWell you see all hunters for some reason have the weakest melle and about 70% of the time they don't register, same goes with blade dancer

If history has shown us anything, it's that we want the worst super for 9 months. That way when they add another we can be op for 4 months.
