Lately I have seen A LOT of requirements for 315+ for raids.
Do people really think light level equals a players skill base?
I've seen some 290's run better raids than 315+ players.
Considering how your light lvl is really just luck and repetition of gameplay. At least in my opinion it is.

Not even close Im amazed by number of people I see in strikes with raid gear but they cant cope with a simple heroic strike & you know they been carried.
-
No. You can be a shit 320. You can be a god 220.
-
Not at all

-
in general i have an easier time in raids with a 315+ group,i don't think its more skilled though but more practised.
-
Not at all, my first hard raid completions was with people with light levels around 305. I tried doing it with people above 315 and they had trouble killing warpriest.
-
No but it's a probability that somebody that is s 315+ has more experience. I understand it's all luck if the draw but if I'm on a "speed run" or on a challenge like oryx challenge id take my chances with a 319 before a 310.
-
No. Just means you were lucky if you have that stuff
-
-
Not really. Saw a level 8 hunter kill three 290s with golden gun.
-
Not necessarily, it can just equal endurance!
-
A lot of higher lights that are just flat out dumb. If you're a stupid ass it doesn't matter what your light is. But lower lights usually suck a fat one.
-
In general...yes It relates to experience, which in general relates to skill.........statistically speaking. On an individual level....no
-
You Should of made this a poll as there seems to be very divided opinions on this
-
Well...you can get a 320 helmet and class item from finishing 6th in a sparrow race...so i'd say no.
-
-
Yes and no, depends on the difference in light level, it's more about knowledge more than anything, for example a 315 is likely to know more than a 308 about the hard raid.
-
Nope cause I rekt 317-318 when I was 313
-
310+ is perfectly fine for an Oryx cp. what matters after 310 is personal skill, i've seen new 310s die every run and experienced ones (on their alt, maybe) never die except when wiping due to someone else's mistakes. a number alone won't tell you whether that person is 310+ due to crucible events or due to completing KF HM 3x a week, and i'd want the latter in my raid fireteam over the former for sure.
-
No it does not
-
5 AntwortenWhen I recruit for trials, my only requirement is 320+. That means they're good.
-
7 AntwortenYeah if you are not 319 plus you are not joining my raid group sorry guys.
-
No but a 290 will NEVER outdamage a 320 kinght.
-
No! My friend is 318 and he and the fire team struggled with challenge warpriest... Idk
-
No Light does not equal skill. Light equals how lucky you are at getting better gear. Skill determines skill.

1. No but seeing as hard mode the knights are least 312 it helps to be able to kill them quickly. 2. Higher level means you take less damage = less likely to die when you do get hit. 3. You're already running with strangers you've probably never played with before why not stack the deck when there are plenty of drooling high school dropout idiots?
