The -blam!-ing Swords!
Everybody talks about what weapons are good in PvP but no one talks about the bad ones. How the hell do you do a weapon update and not even consider buffing the swords. I'm struggling hardcore to get these sword kills. I get wasted away by rockets, machine guns, and supers constantly. John Weisnewski needs to be fired prompto!
Edit: I completed the PvP part legitimately. I say legitimately because a lot of people replied and stated they cheated the quest. Others told me they sacrificed their kd to get luck kills with the hilt which requires two hits to a full health guardian. If people are cheating to get a quest, then I feel like the weapon needs to be reevaluated to see if it needs a [b]Buff[/b]. Most of the time I hit killed by supers when I got my heavy. I did block but of obvioukdjy didn't work most of the time plus I still took significant damage to other players carrying heavy and I got beat a lot when i was tag teamed. Grenades also destroyed me and overall I found it to be difficult. Had most people not cheated the quest the swords would definitely have more attention.

OR you can try doing it smart like and being sneaky using stealth with or without ammo .... of course that would take some intelligence .

4 AntwortenCrouch around a corner... Wait patiently. When you see that radar go off start looking around the corner (3rd person view) then strike. Rinse and repeat, some matches are going to be better than others.

You can get the sword kills by simply running around with no Ammo in them and it will still count, challenging to get a 2 hit Melee on someone without dying but works a lot faster

Dude it actually becomes easy and kinda fun when you use the shield

2 AntwortenDidn't see #satire Here's a tip. 1. Pick up heavy ammo 2. Search for target rich choke point 3. Switch to sword 4. crouch in corner 5. Use 3rd person view to peek around corner 6. Smack everyone who walks by 7. laugh 8. complete quest. 9. read hatemail before bed

2 AntwortenGot it done in about 5 matches doing sword hilt and heavy. I just did it twice this past weekend. Everyone is right about heavy. Wait till people spam their rockets and chill and then look for a hallway where most run and just crouch and strike.

21 AntwortenUse your hilt, and forget your KDR. I still haven't finished the strike after the PvP sword kills. I hear you have to kill things in a specific order and I don't feel like using lfg.

You need the same skills to get sword kills that you need to get shotgun kills. The ability to close to close-range, without getting yourself killed. 1. Learn how to use the block function. That will allow you to absorb damage while trying to close 2. Learn how to strike while blocking (you don't have to release the block in order to attack) 3. Learn how to use choke points and other low-visibility locations to stage ambushes of other players. So you can get in close before they realize you are there.

1 AntwortenI feel like swords should have had classes in mind, like a titan with a sword and shield, hunter as a fast, well, basically arcblade, and a lock with a wide swipe via energy, like it's normal melee.
