SRL dropping 320 gear is a joke....
Seriously though. I thought end game loot was restricted to end game activities.....
I don't even care about them selling level 25 kits for $40, since it's not end game tier loot.
Why would stupid ass racing reward you with gear at the same level as raiding, trials, and iron banner.
I usually support bungie in much of what they do, but this one pisses me off.
Even if, by some ridiculous line of thought, you consider SRL end game, why wouldn't they limit end game drops to once per reset like every single other end game activity? SRL has become the most rewarding activity in destiny now? Lol.
Maybe next month they'll add a remake of asteroids that drops 320 chest pieces after a couple hundred games. You know, to make sure there is enough endgame content and end game gear for everyone...

2 AntwortenIt's not all gear. Just 2 parts and you've got to be pretty lucky to get 320 drops as it is. I think it's justified by the grind involved. I've done all the bounties since day one of SRL bar one day and I'm still not rank 3.

They are doing this for two reasons. One they want you to pay to play. Two the light will soon be raised past 320

1 AntwortenI think part of the reason is that a lot of people hadn't received a helmet or that there is a small chance of getting a 320 helmet from oryx so they gave players another way to get a 320 helmet and mark, I just got two helmets out of oryx, a 310 and a 320, after a few races I then get a 319 helmet as well. You really shouldn't care because it's only a helmet and a mark its not really gonna make them a high light level, they'll still need other decent gear

1 AntwortenWell you only get 310+ HELMET AND CLASS ITEM after you're at least rank 3. Which means you have to grind a little to get it. Even then, people have almost 200 races completed and only gotten one 320 drop. It's not raining 320s up in here so please, go melt in the sun little snowflake.

Yeah, at least once a race I see someone just stop moving because he knows he's not going to place top three and go to the bathroom or something. Then drops high level helmets.

Again, it was guaranteed just for playing. 320 helmets and class items are RANDOM after rank 3. No one complained about that pvp activity so why complain about this pvp activity?

So they had this planned to make money knowing willing that people would grind SRL for 320 helms like myself. They are manipulating this game pretty well lol kudos to them. However in a lot of cases people will put the game down and not play it. It's a win lose situation

I completely agree. It shouldn't take you a simple race where a 10 year old can do it. Most endgame things required a team and strategy behind it. A puzzle of some sort. The only puzzle is racing is hitting the boosts and not getting killed by the race additions (like the fans). Racing should be a way for low levels can get some ways of getting high gear let's say, 280? Because that's the common for the vendors anyways. But that's my input. Like you said, game shouldn't be grind X hours for gear. It should be grind with a team and strategically for a chance for high gear. I believe the game should have some sort of borderlands team and loot dropping (as in grind X mission type rewards X fireteam amount X strategy; 6 people = best chance at high gear) As I type that, I remembered borderlands only way of making it harder was increasing the health and levels of monsters, but still, wouldn't be a bad way of getting things.

Not everyone has good rng from the raid. I've completed kingsfall every week x3 and I've never seen a 320 item besides challenge mode. I'll take whatever help I can get

They gave out a few in the first couple days couple hundred thousand 320 drops and then they stop race bait

Finally got one 320 helmet today. Got loads of 317-318 helmets and a few klass items. A friend got two 320 helmets today while we were playing - lucky girl:).

Well, if its raining 320's, my races have a big umbrella to stop them, because I haven't seen one drop for any racer yet. I'm past level 3 and got a couple of 315's, but still.... I don't get why an incentive to do something new in Destiny is some sort of offense to raiders.
