Easily. Madden is more repetitive then Destiny and look at that shit. COD, Halo, Final Fantasy, Fallout, and many more series have been putting out games for over a decade, and they are still selling games like crazy.
-
Unfortunately, this is a very common misconception with fans. It's actually just a ten year contract with Activision. Not a ten year game. So no it won't last 10 years. Also Destiny 2 has already basically been officially announced.

4 AntwortenYes. Taken King was a step in the right direction( with them also taking steps back?

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von code0rama: 12/16/2015 7:24:58 PMOf course it will. COD keeps pumping out crap games and they keep selling millions. I actually like Destiny a lot and think that most of the problems are with the players and not the game People want the game to be things it's not. It's something different. We haven't had a game like it before. I keep reading about the need for fresh content. Really? You buy COD and you get a crap campaign and PVP. Only new content is new maps to do the same thing over and over. Video games are repetitive as hell. Madden. Keep playing games. Fallout, complete missions over and over. While destiny had repetition, it at least offers variety. When I'm bored with one thing, I can do another. To have this same variety, you have to buy multiple games. So for my 140 dollars, I've gotten a year and a half, 3 raids, PVP, strikes, events like Queens Wrath, IB, SRL and Trials of Osiris. You pay 110 for season pass on COD and you get PVP, new maps and zombies. 1 year later, you pay 110 again for new game.

2 AntwortenNah, i love Destiny. But if you wanna survive, you gotta be putting out fresh, exciting content at a consistent pace.

No one thought world of warcraft would last as long as it did also blizzard only anticipated apx 500,000 subs and look at them. At there peak i think they were apx 15 mil subs.
-
No... Lies, bullshit, no dlc, shit servers, terrible RNG... At least in COD you know when you level up you get something better

Only if destiny 2 is a MAJOR success

1 AntwortenIt all depends on destiny 2's success

Sure, ratchet and clank has lasted 20+ years. How old is Mario? Metal gear solid. There are countless game franchises that have been out for way more than 10 yrs. Will the same people still be playing it? Who knows, but a different generation will take it over. I don't think the same people are still playing Mario today that played it in the beginning.
-
No, they admitted it themselves. It's not a for sure 10 year thing

Bearbeitet von Lizard King: 12/16/2015 6:53:29 PMGuys who say no, stop bi*ching about a franchise that you " think will die" yet you still shove money in bungie face for every new thing
-
I don't really think I want to play destiny for ten years, cod showed me how stale it can get lol
-
Not at this rate
-
Bungie keeps lying to us, nope. They got some repairing to do.
-
Nope Bungie has gotten too greedy! The basic of the game ...has been set in the back burner! Micro transactions is what's the game is all about ! I will keep in playing the basic game but I won't find myself falling for any micro transactions scheme.

1 AntwortenPossibly.
