2 AntwortenI'm guessing it will go 3 to 5 no further.

Lol hell nah. Virtual gaming will be in by then.
-
Yea sure.. I mean the game has been out for 2 years with plenty of room for improvements. With the tracks that bungie are following, they will consistently lose and gain their player count. Much like WoW, every time there's a new game their game thrives with players. However few months down the road their player count drops, until the next release. This can be seen with destiny, player count rising and lowering.

They're maybe setting a questionable track record when it comes to numbers. Maybe there was supposed to be a decimal in there somewhere, or when it comes to D-day in X years, suddenly it was never a 10 year plan and although that had been broadcast all over for ages they'd been too busy with the, um, game to have noticed the wrong figure was given. But I hope they can pull it off, I enjoy it despite the issues.

Destiny 2 I reckon will be the Destiny 1 we always hoped it would be. Especially since we wont be grinding on the floor thanks to last gen. If its just as much bullshit as 1 then its going to take a massive massive hit and may not make it.
-
Probably not. There will most likely be recalls in which there'd be a new game but it takes into account all your old stuff. If you trade in the older version, you get it for free. If not, you pay. If they ever wanted to release something so big which couldn't be done through a expansion, then this might happen, but in its current state, it won't last 10 years, even with DLC's. I bet my liver on it.

Probably most of the textures and mechanics are done just updating they don't have to start from scratch for any of the upcoming years and with the in-game purchases it will turn a profit for awhile
-
We'll be facing Oryx great great great grandfather by then to avenge his other fallen sons

In all honesty I don't know, It sure does have the potential. As long as Bungie can decide where they want this game to go I could see destiny going very far and at the moment I really don't think they do.
-
Hopefully come destiny 2 it will get larger. For the game it is it already has a large community, people complain but people always do.
-
Yes. I think the devoted community will support it. Yeah the complainers are loud, but they are always loud.
-
Yup, it will. Halo lasted that long with less support.
-
No chance

2 AntwortenI will reserve my judgment until we see how Destiny 2 plays out. If it's more of how it currently is. I'm going to reluctantly part ways.

Ya as long as bungie and high moon studios dont -blam!- up Destonys next installment at the end of next year
-
They can even play out 1 year properly...all the lies and misleads, I honestly doubt they'd last after the second installment...but then again there are a lot of desticles addicted to gambling that will gladly throw money art their screen to keep them alive until the servers shut down.

Well CoD has been around for that long putting out the same game. Destiny has already made more changes in their short time. Some good some bad but at least they are trying to mix it up a bit. If they stay around a few years who knows what kind of a game it could be at 5+ years. Could be something special or could be trash. Either way I'll be interested to see how it unfolds.
