Pay to win is amazing
Hey to all you people who think this is a bad idea get a clue. They are selling a product that doesn't change the game at all. For anyone dumb enough to pay to get to level 25 is laughable. That is what 2 hours of game play maybe a little more. Not to mention lvl 25 doesn't get you anything no exotic use. You get nothing for that money.
My main point is instead of bashing bungee for this one you should be giving them a high five for subsidizing our game with lazy new players.
Go bungie I hate some of the choices you have made but I applaud this one. Now bring back all the yr 1 content (strikes / raids / weapons)
Don't forget my gally. Who cares if it is over powered it is fun and that is what matters.

3 AntwortenPay to Win is meant for FREE games. It's the developers way of getting money from the consumer from a free product. And in all games it's implemented in a way that reduces the fun, as to get things done you need to pay. Bungie are being smart about it, and doing it one thing at a time. Soon enough, we'll reach a point where they sell engrams, or material packages, and because they do it at a slow rate, you're still going to support it, as when that point comes, everything "Non-Essential" will be sold, and you'll consider it normal, and it slips right past you. It is unacceptable to have it in any game I've already paid money for, unless the content is worth the price they give. (In this Case it's very lazy on Bungie's part.) Supporting this only further declines gaming these days, you basically are giving them permission to steal your wallet, and give nothing in return, and reduce quality and effort in games.

3 AntwortenIf a player is New how do they know how long it takes to level up to 25 ? Bungie is cashing in on new players Ignorance , the games been out a year , 3 DLC later and light level 320. So a new player to the game seeing all the above will think they need to buy the item to catch up. That is not the players fault. They think the company put those items in because they are needed to catch up ( it's a common practice in MMO's these days , that have 50 to 100 level players and have been out for years, they often Give you one character near max level with Gear to start with ) Not everyone is going to go into in-depth research when purchasing a video game, and most parents buying their kids a holiday present that's rated T are not going to an in-depth research study of the leveling system . The new Boost item is to take advantage of New players, plain and simple Anyone who plays the game knows the cost of them is completely outrageous (you can buy the entire game and All DLC for $40 )

1 AntwortenYou're over looking one thing. If Bungie can make money off micro transactions, then what incentive would there be for them to develop new raids and planets quickly to be sold as DLC? That's why they've pushed back releasing the meaty end game content because the money is flowing in just fine from stupid shit like emotes instead of quality game play that adds to the Destiny lore.
