lol!!!! I stopped playing destiny for a while. Ive not played it since BO3 and SW:BF. Ive not quit destiny, just taking a long break until they really fix things, not had an email though!

Bungie is trying to make this game into franchise real hard aren't they?? Haha Jesus... I haven't seen this much use of industry, commercial, and diversion tactics in a video game ever...

Yep, So the small amount of people with the chance to have their feedback read and seriously taken into consideration are wasting bungies time. It's pissing me off because it doesn't help anything. It's a chance to have the players give honest feedback to try to improve the game, maybe even take part in creating the game but no the people actually given the opportunity are blowing it. Personally I think this game needs some kind of level based rewards system, to encourage people to keep leveling even after playing through the story would make a huge difference. I beat the story and got my chars to level 20 within two days. Besides buying the Taken King and playing through that there really isn't a lot to keep people playing then the PVP and items etc. I had two solid days of story game play and then nothing so there really isn't content you can play by yourself other then the side missions which get repetitive and boring. Some kind of player based gear trading or something between friends would be great while your playing. Diablo 3 lost a huge number of people when they retired the auction house there was no reason to trade up for better gear. However the game is already dangerously unbalanced and creating some kind of auction or game item trading would destroy the economy. It would give people a huge advantage in PVP who haven't earned it and people could buy their way into being better which is just awful. I'll play Tetris and pac man for years and keep playing it not because of the story, not because of the stuff they added years later but because you keep leveling the game gets more challenging it grows as you get better. A game that is going to challenge you make you work harder to beat it and has unlimited growth opportunity is going to keep you playing even years after it was released. This game has no opportunity for growth, you're playing the same level over and over in the same ways but you don't feel like your accomplishing anything because you're not advancing to harder challenges. Star Wars the old republic is a great game because you develop your character you choose the outcome for individual missions and you grow over time to create a character completely unique from anyone else on the game. You can play the same levels over and over again and get a completely different outcome. Classes, race attributes etc are great ESO is the same way but doesn't have the replay value because the story isn't as good. Destiny is created in space with literally endless planets, galaxies etc but you find yourself in the same places over and over again doing the same thing. Make a sandbox version of the game with a larger universe to explore or item creation literally anything can improve Destiny at this point because the game is so repetitive. The only thing that makes this game worth playing past level 20 is the PVP which is in itself dangerously unbalanced.

There just geniunely is NOT enough content to keep people playing all the time, if they want people to be on this game all the time they need to give us a reason to do so. Not everyone likes sitting in orbit doing nothing, there is no incentive to play the game, I don't blame anyone for leaving and I would never recommend this game to any of my friends soley because Bungie are the developer and Activision are money hogging ... I mean publisher.

They should've asked you why you're still on the forums if you're not playing anymore.

Wish there was something else I enjoyed playing right now to get off destiny for a bit. I have fallout 4, few hours here and there get played but I find I end up doing feck all after an hour or so. Wandering around aimlessly collecting stuff. It's a great game but after a while playing I tend to lose interest. Considering getting 'just cause 3' just for a bit of out and out explosive fun, anyone out there enjoying it?

How much time do you have to spend away to get this email? I haven't played in nearly 2 months. I can't wait until I get one. The sad thing is that if Bungie just payed attention to what people are saying in the forums there would be no need to send these emails. Sadly, they care much more about making money than they do about making a great game.
