Have fun.
"Guys micro transactions are just emotes! You aren't any better at crucible with a clap."
"Guys it's JUST Halloween masks who cares"
"So what if it's 10 dollars for a record book with an exclusive set of armor and exclusive sparrow"
"5 dollars per random sparrow...? It's still just cosmetic"
"Haha who cares so what if people can pay to level, it DEFINITELY won't go any further than this ....right..?"
How is going guys? Happy with awesome PvE content? Hehehehheheheheh : :P :P

1 AntwortenYou know what's going to happen
-
Herp derp another micro transaction. The people complaining seem to be the 14 year olds who don't have jobs or money.
-
I am legit disgusted by this.
-
These forums are a microcosm for what the world has become. A bunch of millennials with no voice of their own. Just a bunch of sheep being herded, and this time by Activision (who I ultimately blame for the slow decline of this game). FYI: I loved Destiny, and I still play it. Even I can see it has declined with every DLC, though. I don't know how you can stick up for this game with all the BS this long after launch.
-
Pretty sure that everyone in the back of their heads knew that the micro transactions were never going to be cosmetic only.

Bearbeitet von Sawk monkey: 12/20/2015 5:30:05 PMI would be against this if I hadn't spent at least $25 on smash characters. At least they're post developed though...

Bearbeitet von milesi564: 12/20/2015 5:23:52 PMRight. It's not cosmetic I know but it doesn't effect you. It just shortens play time or new players with too much money to spend. I'm not saying it's right taking money from idiots who buy it but there is no need to complain about this micro but say to bungie don't do anything past this

1 AntwortenNo matter what it seems pretty soon we will have pay to win, and everyone and their mother will invest. Some won't but people most definitely will.
-
3 AntwortenI understand why they are doing this. But why can't we get down on this, even if these newbies get to level 25 they still need teammates for the "end game content". So why can't someone give me 200 silver or whatever to help them through oryx or trials. Hell even nightfalls, can't tell you how many times I come into the tower after completing it that some low level wants help doing something I get no rewards for. So have a kiosk where Joebob420 can have his quest that he needs help with posted, in game, so that guardians in the tower can see if it's worth 3 hours doing the nightfall over again. I have spent 140 beans on this game, and it would be nice to re coup some of that.
-
1 AntwortenI'm tempted to delete my characters this week, buy the consumables, and run challenge mode for oryx. I need those 320 primaries and helmets. And a lot of them.
-
5 AntwortenMy 2 cents How do you make new players interested in joining a game based on grinding? Level boosters simple
-
3 AntwortenNothing that affects competitive balance, gtfo.
-
6 AntwortenThrough your post you make it seem like you're saying its pay-to-win, that's why you're getting all these people saying that. You should probably make it a little more specific
-
1 AntwortenDestiny is slowly entering the world of microtransactions. I mean sure, the spark of light is pretty worthless and obsolete, but the question is: Just how far will Bungie go?
Like in WoW, we might get something like: "Fully leveled Warlock only for $39.99!" I just don't want to see this game become P2W.
-
6 AntwortenOh no! The lvl 25s are gonna destroy us in trials with their year 10 gjallarhorns
-
3 AntwortenThe whining! What happened to just having fun?
-
5 AntwortenWell looks like people put their tinfoil hats back on and are misinformed. 1. Nothing in the booster pack is Pay-to-Win 2. Its aimed at new players who want to get into the good stuff fast. Does not give them an advantage over you and I. 3. Overpriced as Fuq and who is gonna spend $30 usd just to do something that takes maybe 8 hours?
-
Anyone who would spend 45$ to get to 25 is a straight up idiot lol That's a new game lol
-
3 AntwortenBearbeitet von Ashikon: 12/20/2015 2:20:40 AMIt's obviously targeting the new players. How much of a coincidence that it was released in December, the month where kids are most likely to be getting Destiny?
-
You could pay randoms to do it prior to the introduction of level boosts. Bungie just created a way to cash in.
-
4 AntwortenHow is it so hard for morons to understand. This is aimed at brand new destiny players. When I was going through levels 1-25, the only things blocked by level, we're nightfalls, and weeklys.....and everyone else was in the same boat. Now, for a new player, there are tons of stuff you can't do.......it must seem like the whole game is just level grinding....even though it's grossly overpriced, I can see the appeal to a new player who feels like they can't participate in anything.

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von Kage Verix: 12/20/2015 2:15:24 AMWhere was it stated, by bungie, that its bought for silver would be only cosmetic? If you would kindly show me where this is stated, it would be greatly appreciated I'm pretty sure they only said that the items were not going to be anything that would adversely affect another player's experience if they chose to opt-out of buying them. .
-
12 AntwortenOh no. The world is over. People can buy to the beginning of endgame content. Confess your sins while you still can. The ability to use an item GIVEN TO ALL YEAR ONE PLAYERS Has been released so that people can just buy their way to a point they would reach by playing the story, and all while being given bad guns and armor
