Yes that's right guys, for $44.95 you yourself can purchase a spark of light consumable that will let you get to level 25 instantly that comes with a subclass boost and telemetries...

Edit: pricing information. In Europe it is £24.99, in America it is $29.95.
Edit 2: just so you guys understand this was a post to bring insight onto it, nowhere have I stated my hatred for it although I belive it is to test the waters for future crap like this.
Edit 3: Fun fact ~ this MicroTransaction cost more then both HoW & CE lmfao.
Edit 4: any new player that buys TTK gets a spark of light nomatter what, just putting that out there.
Final Edit: My issue is that this is the price of a full DLC, nearly as much as TTK itself. Yet they can't give us an actual DLC and they are still trying to take that money we would've given them from us. I love destiny, I've put countless hours into it and don't want to see it ruined like so many games before that have played with microtransaction, that's why I bought attention to this.
Also this is the original post. If you see other people with these photos around just know that they were taken by me (planet destiny retweeted them so they spread like wildfire. Wait, Should I put this in a spoiler ? Nah nobody will read this far down.
If you read this you are a lovely person regardless of what nasty or positive comment you wrote and I hope you have a good day :D
Pay 2 win
-
Wait, you have to pay almost full price to NOT play the game? Who thought this is good idea? But, this does shows an alarming trend. They moved up from cosmetics to actual game leveling at a price. Who knows how much further they are willing to take it. As it stand only a complete idiot will buy this joke package, but if it becomes silver for 310+ items, or silver exclusive exotics then we have a problem.
-
1 AntwortenAnother note, if they've converted the prices here (roughly) then WHY THE FLYING -blam!- DID MY DLC COST £40?!?!
-
Bearbeitet von Xse7enO_: 12/15/2015 5:00:39 PMI have no problem with them selling this type of item but 40$ is way to -blam!-ing much wtf is bungie smoking
-
10 AntwortenAre they putting a gun to people's heads and making them buy this??? This is the problem with society now...People are so self righteous that they feel like they have a say in what people choose to buy and sell. Get off your soap box and worry about things you have control over in your life. If someone wants to pay for this dumb shit let em. Best thing you can do is give your honest recommendation and advise against it but spare us all the retarded, uncalled for outrage because this is a open market and things like this have little to know effect on the game as a whole. Inb4 "slippery slope" arguments. Save that shit or just leave if this bothers you that much
-
6 AntwortenI see a great business opportunity here. I'll set up by bungie's headquarters selling torches and pitchforks.
-
The only way that's worth 45 dollars is if it comes with a 40 dollar hooker.
-
1 AntwortenThis bores me. I hope I don't see the likes of this post for the coming week.

In the xbox store they are $29.99, there is one for each class - outside of making you level 25 they contain a subclass boost(not clear how that works) and some telemetries. http://store.xbox.com/en-US/Xbox-One/DLC/Destiny-Level-25-Warlock-Pack/e516c5c7-2b2f-4013-bab5-2e7ebe654fda

3 AntwortenWhy does everyone flip out when bungie is trying to help new players get caught up?
-
8 AntwortenI'll level your character up to 40 and suck your dick for $20
-
6 AntwortenTo make this effective, we're most likely going to see 1 of 2 things. 1: They'll radically lower xp gain. Existing players won't notice since they're already maxed. New players will feel the pain and be more likely to buy the boost. 2: They'll radically raise mission requirements. New folks won't be able to proceed to the next mission until they've levelled. They won't be able to level quickly being tied to repeating low xp missions they can access.
-
The only ppl I could see buying it are those who delete a character to reset their k/d ratio.

I remember when Desticles said this wouldn’t happen that all the microtransactions would be cosmetic even after the game was datamined and these were found, they believed Bungie. I remember before that when they said that free DLC would happen thanks to microtransactions and instead of fighting them embraced them with open arms. This is what the game is now and now that Bungie knows they literally don’t have to do any work and they can actually make more money than they did doing actual work why the hell would they bring actual quality content to the game? Don’t worry the cognitive dissonance will allow desticles to find excuses and not acknowledge the lies they tell themselves.
-
1 AntwortenAm i supposed to get all freaked out about this? Are we gonna protest, sign a petition or hit the streets and start looting like real men? Let me know!
-
1 AntwortenA Desticle will have trouble defending something THIS laughable. You know its bad when Desticles are unable to find anything in their defense but "if that's too much for you, you should find a job" lol all missing the -blam!-ing point. What a bunch of retards.
-
Ha, when you brake it down that's a pound a level. What a farce, hope noobs don't fall for this. They only have to play the story and they'll be level 25.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von Cruistix: 12/15/2015 3:27:37 PMSlowly but surely they will continue to add things like this... Eververse is how they plan to make money this year (instead of paid content expansions) so expect more of this... I defended Bungie in the beginning as I had no problem with cosmetic additions... That was BEFORE we were told about the lack of expansions this year. Now it seems clear that over time they will add more and more things that in a round about way are becoming pay to win. Because you can get gear that can be used to infuse other gear from sparrow racing, this is the first part of their plan: slowly get the community used to these "cosmetic" additions... The end is near, and that is a shame...this was and still is a great game. The gun play is AMAZING and they have done so many things right, but they have also done so many things wrong... This has been one big beta test and slowly they are destroying the game I grew to love... They need some stability, instead the game is in a constant state of flux. Don't get me wrong, I understand that the game needs to evolve, but things such as changing how items are ascended/infused as well as their "balancing" has everyone constantly relearning the game only to reverse or completely change those mechanics on the next patch. Not having public test servers to allow for player feedback and bug checking, not having dedicated servers to help combat lag, and Eververse (the final nail in the coffin) are the biggest reasons this game is losing all of its players (among many others) Of course, this is only my opinion, but Destiny needs some stability. They need stop making these silly mistakes and apologizing all the time, they need to fix the issues that have been around since launch and they need to get rid of ANY micro transactions that have any bearing on leveling a character.
-
2 AntwortenI remember levels 1-25 on my original character being pretty damn boring, especially that artificial "wall" from 20-25 (finding armor). I personally wouldn't pay for this, but then again, I have all 3 classes maxed & still have a spark in my vault. I guess if someone REALLY wants to play a new class, or a brand new player happens to drop in at Xmas time...
-
1 AntwortenWow. That's ridiculous. I bought fallout 4 from JB, day one for $58. $45 is obscene.
-
2 AntwortenJust checked PSN store & Xbox, this is false.

2 AntwortenI hope next I get to buy fuel for my sparrow.

Hahahahahahah

3 AntwortenNext we will need health insurance for our guardians to participate in combat, only $2.99 per month
