Great, so we go an entire month without Iron Banner for some craptastic racing on two tracks
Thanks Bungie. That's definitely what I wanted to do over my holiday break, drive your half arsed Wipeout bikes across the two tracks you bothered to make while you all sit in front of a screen hitting refresh on your bank accounts as people buy sparrows and record books.
You promised us Iron Banner in December. I don't think most people expected you to mean in the last two days of December. Of you really launch it after SRL ends on Dec 29th, it will be a full six weeks in between Banner runs.
You're obviously not going to put out legitimate content any more, just gimmick events, and that's enough garbage to deal with, so delaying events that we actually do consistently enjoy is way over the top.
Want a TL;DR?
Sparrow racing is garbage and it's unacceptable that our Iron Banner got shoved back three weeks for it.

But but the 2 tracks are fantastic and now theres no iron banner i can spend more real cash on sparrows.

6 AntwortenWait.. your upset cause a version of Crucible got pushed back? I like Iron Banner for drops. SRL is giving great drops on helms and class items. I call that a push. 3 o coins also works and so does the Jolly Holiday quest. Those are wins in my book. Yeah not that upset over IB getting pushed back a bit.

1 AntwortenI'm happy chasing the 320 helmets and class items that I can infuse on all three characters. No complaints here. I'm also off work over Xmas and new year. More time to get into IB then.

One week would be perfect and two weeks TOPs... I feel like I had more then enough after the week passed and iam sure the majority feels the same way. Fun, but with two tracks and no ability to earn the sparrows as race rewards it loses its charm rather fast. Also the amount of helmets compared to calss Items I get is 9 - 1 in favor of helms and Iam not sure if that was intended...

I'm gutted,I had everything that Srl can drop by Friday.and I barely played it Tuesday Wednesday. I have a load of iron banner bounties I've been keeping for a month and was looking forward to getting some of the new gear.

4 AntwortenSRL is the worst kind of grind. The same two poorly designed tracks, over and over and over and over and over.... add shitty physics, asshat opponents and for what? a helmet? Certainly not for fun and entertainment.

8 AntwortenSparrow racing is complete ASS! Just like all racing games, people care more about ramming than RACING. Only two (horribly designed) courses. One catch 22 after another. Dodging one obstacle shouldnt immediately throw you into another. The only reason I even bothered to try it was for high light level gear which Im guessing wont drop until probably rank 2. IT TAKES WAY TOO LONG TO RANK UP, given the lack of content (just two fricking courses). NOT FUN. BORING. Im missing Iron Banner for THIS???????????????????????????????????????????????????

I agree. The racing was fun for a day. After that people were just racing because they heard a promise of 320 helmets. We only play it because the raid loot drops are too broken to ever give a helmet.
