So after a decade plus, psn banned
Ive had the name tbags since day -blam!-ing 1 ps3 launch day. TODAY sony decides my name is offensive and was banned. Are you -blam!-ing kidding me? Not one moderator at sony over the past 10+ years seen my name not even once? And now they tell me it was probably the first time someone seen it. -blam!- you! Thats a load of shit and you know it. So now my friends list, gone. My trophies, gone. Very nice there sony. Been a LOYAL customer since ps1 and i get shit on. I was able to change my name and retain all my destiny content and such but im still a bit pissed off. Rant over. Have a good day.
I was able to change my name btw. The issue is with losing my friends list and trophies ive earned since ps3 launch.
Edit** thank you everyone for the support. I know its a name and some stupid trophies, but you grow attached to your persona over the years.

They may have made a change in their license agreement or someone simply reported you. From my experience the mods are not just patrolling randomly looking for people, they only follow reports

Should have read the terms of use. Seriously if it has only just happened it is probably because someone reported it. End of the day, if you hadn't breeched the terms of use you wouldn't have an issue.

I reported my friend because he hated his gamertag and hated people calling him by it. I get a friend request from him with his new name and when he got in the party chat he was so happy. He was like "someone reported my old account! I was finally able to change my PSN name! Thank god!" I told him I did it and he was extremely happy lol. OT: it's 2015 OP...the year Caitlyn Jenner won Woman of the Year...the year of extreme political correctness. People are pussies OP. I'm sorry.
