Even without the Auto Rifle buff being placed correctly, I feel that, for the most part, Crucible is fine the way it is. With the exception of two guns(TLW and MIDA), I don't feel like I'm getting overpowered by anything in particular.
About MIDA. Everyone's using it and for some reason, it's the only gun that I'm consistently outgunned by. (this is coming from me, and I usually go positive in most games of Crucible.) I have yet to touch it, and I don't really want to use it because my Treads Upon Stars serves me well. That and I'd rather take up my exotic weapon slot with Thunderlord.
About TLW. Yes, it's been nerfed, and to be successful with it, you better hip fire it, as the recoil isn't really noticeable when you hip fire it. I don't know what it is, but if I encounter someone with TLW, I'm more than likely to lose the fight.
What are your guys' thoughts on these two weapons?

2 AntwortenRight now MIDA and last word are like hawksaw and suros pdx were. Good easy to use weapons everyone has. Personally, I use the thorn. Love how butthurt people still get after getting killed by it.
-
The Last Word is fine and does what it is supposed to do at close ranges. If you are getting beat by a Last Word from medium to far ranges then you probably aren't shooting back. MIDA excels at every range which makes it a top gun. MIDA hasn't been touched even though it could compete in the hand cannon meta.
-
3 AntwortenEver consider that the reason you lose these fights is because you are garbage? Both these guns take massive amounts of timing and skill to use effectively and the reason you are losing those gun fights is because you are clearly inferior to your opponent.
-
Muted. Why? Because I'm trying to block out all the nerf posts.
-
5 AntwortenNeither need a nerf. TLW is a primary with super limited range. Yes it still wrecks close up, but from range it's useless. Unless they have a sniper they're a sitting duck from range If you think mida needs a nerf you're out of your mind. It's one of the most balanced weapons
-
6 AntwortenMIDA is the MOST balanced weapon ever introduced into Destiny. If you think it needs a nerf, you should legitimately stop playing Crucible.

The Last Word is only a problem for people that don't understand its bad range. Everyone else is smart enough to keep distance and gun them down. MIDA Multi-Tool comes with built-in a perk called "Nostalgia", which causes previous users of the weapon to immediately flock to it for whatever reason they have. Multi-Tool is a balanced weapon that is very easily destroyed by other Scout Rifles, as other Scout Rifles actually tend to either A) have more impact (Gheleon's Demise, for example) or B) higher fire rate (such as Touch of Malice). Raw stats aside, other Scouts simply tend to have better perks on them than Multi-Tool. Only thing Multi-Tool actually has is its innate stagger and Agility boost and that's it. tl;dr I honestly think people's issue with The Last Word really does stem from the lack of understanding what range it has and how to avoid it. Multi-Tool is just a fan favorite of many.

Bearbeitet von ecruz26: 12/14/2015 5:42:45 PMTlw is fine quit getting in shooting distance its full auto for a reason and mida? I have seen 1-2 mida per game not much of anything to be said about it. The reason everyone is using mida is because they got on the hype train and think its a godlike weapon its not its one of the most balanced ones but not worth the boner people seem to have for it.
-
Mida is the definition of balanced

4 AntwortenAnother shit post about nerf. Let's me apologize that you were killed by this 2 weapons.
-
Nothing wrong with these weapons imo
-
Keep crying NERF maybe the Nerf minority can screw this game into non-existence since the NERF crowd is what Bungie listens to the most
-
Ok, so they nerf them both. People start killing you with other weapons, you come back to repost, then rinse and repeat? Eventually there will be no weapons to compete with your preferred weapons, they will be OP then, but that's ok because you like them, but then someone comes here and cries about your preferred weapons, oh my, the plot thickens. MIDA and TLW are both exotic, they are supposed to be better than legendary weapons. If you are getting outgunned short range by TLW when you are using your treads or whatever then maybe it's time to adjust, same thing goes with the MIDA. Hope this helps, good hunting.

1 AntwortenIt killed me....Neeeeerfff

They are good in good hands, just like any other weapon. TLW has always been the best primary in close range. If they hit their shots, you WILL lose, sometimes even if you have a MG. MIDA has essentially same TTK as other scouts and pulses. Treads is a good gun, TTK is 1 second even with 4 shots, 2 can be body shots, and it has essentially unlimited range for this TTK. But you will lose to higher RoF guns up close, I wouldn't recommend it for most maps. Low-mid RoF pulse or higher RoF scout will serve you better in most situations. On bigger maps your scout will likely be better than MIDA head to head, but on the majority of maps you'll be at a slight disadvantage to most primaries... If I were you I'd stop worrying about what weapons other people are using and realize your deaths are mostly due to decisions you make.
-
Ya everybody's using it because they brought it back to year two and now that pulses are nerfed a bit. They are viable. Mida is not OP at all.

6 AntwortenI like that the last word isn't absolute garbage now. Just my opinion :)
-
This is how the last word I suppose to be it's more balanced then ever, and mida is the most balanced fun in game.
-
1 AntwortenBoth MIDA and LastWord have favoured engagement distances, know what your facing off against and use your preferred weapon at its intended range and you'll likely win. In 6v6 game modes it's hard to single out opponents, but in 3v3 game modes equipping your guns based on the map instead of what you prefer to use, can be huge

Mida? Overpowered?
LOOOOOL
1 AntwortenAll the scrubs hopped on the mida bandwagon, that's why you're seeing it everywhere.

2 AntwortenNERRRRRRRRRRFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF BOTH

Last word is fine now it used to do 111 damage while ads so don't bitch about it.
