I love this game and I'm still playing but so many I play with have left already. The reasons they leave or lose interest do make sense to me, so I gathered the those reasons and made this video.
I'd sure like Bungie make the much needed changes. Most seem so simple and yet aren't even acknowledged.
Of course there are many more problems, feel free to add them in this thread (I can make a follow up if the community wants one)
TL:DR - Read the comments in the video :) Seems that most players agree.
Thanks for your time.

EDIT - Wow, thanks so much for the support, I was quite nervous posting here but you folks have been really supportive. Huge thanks!
EDIT 2 - Holy shet I never expected this kind of response, makes me wish I could have done a better job!

I agree about the poor RNG system and its reverse effect on people's motivation to play this game. All current systems within the game used to keep people playing longer takes minimal effort and therefore cheap to implement. What isn't easy or cheap is to provide more content that keeps people playing longer that does not include slot machine style rewards. Don't get me started on microstransactions .... Just wonder how long it will be before the first pieces of unique stat/perk armour and weapons start appearing in Eververse.

13 AntwortenBest Destiny appraisal I've ever seen. See... Here's an eloquent, articulate, thoughtfully considered love letter to Bungie directly focusing the real issues the majority of the community has, like a laser beam, and leaving the answers laid bare before them like so many empty chests in KF heroic mode. Will Bungie see this? Possibly. Will Bungie acknowledge this? Probably not. Should Bungie acknowledge this? In my humble opinion. Yes. Why do Bungie believe less is more?... Because of the proverbial "carrot on the stick"? Because mostly, we all keep coming back? Ok... Yes... This is true for now for a large section of the community, but this mentality will only be supported for so long. Eventually even the most dedicated fan will become jaded, and simply leave... Never to return. A vocal minority says "we don't want everything at once"... And, the majority agrees... Mostly. But... The majority, and dare I say also the minority didn't expect to get everything they want in such a prolonged, drip fed manner. It was fun at first. But it's wearing thin now. And for me, personally to say this is pretty significant, as I've only played two games since Destiny came out. Two. And only one of those I have actually finished. So please... For the love of Rahool... Respond to this Bungie.... Anyone....
Even that Warlock Mother Loving Deej
Thanks OP. xeno out.

2 AntwortenJust got to say Bump, Dear Bungie, Im not really sure why you have made it so difficult to play alone in Destiny, I play a lot of group mission but that can't always be so do to the job I have that really doesn't give me much day time play with my friends, I mostly play at night. With that said, I like doing the Daily Heroics, Vanguard heroics and the Weekly Nightfall strikes. This are really great for trying to get Legendary Marks, but it seems all this are just group Strikes that can't be accomplished alone, well mostly can't. As for example, tonight I tried to do the Daily Heroic Strike, with 457 kills, 164 precision kills, and 7 deaths. After nearly an hour and a half I knew there was no way I could possibly beat this. Also I do have all legendary and exotic gear except for 2 weapons which are still high attack weapons. The Daily Heroic recommends 240 light which I have 265 so I thought "oh good, one I can do". Wrong. I love the new sparrow races and doing the Crucible matches, it just sucks that one that mostly plays alone has to be excluded from some strikes, especially the ones that reward you with Legendary Marks. If this strikes are really not intended for 1 player, don't make that an option. Why can't you do what you have done with other mission that need to be team based such as the Vanguard Strike list and create a team for the single players. I enjoy Destiny in some aspects, however I do feel as it alienates players from actually enjoy the full game that they bought.

Totally agree with all that. They really did drop the ball with this game, I love the machanics (didn't expect anything less after spending so many years playing the early halos) and definitely has soo much potential. Let's hope they learn their lesson for destiny 2.

You have done a fantastic job. Thank you so much. <3

Thank you for your honesty, Story. Well said as always. I definitely see where you're coming from. Ever since TTK released, I've felt as if my 'Destiny' was pre-determined. All my hard work and history from Y1 was forcibly demoted in favor of less powerful/useful armor and weapons. Now, thanks to RNG and the new light level system, I feel like any extra time I devote to this game is a poor use of time. Worst of all, it took a pip-boy and a nuclear apocalypse to make me realize that I was no longer in control of my own 'Destiny'.

This is even more relevant now with the level 25 boost pack that was just released. Did we all expect it to happen eventually? Sure, but the possibility for future updates that put even more content behind a pay wall seems even more possible. Please stop focusing on what cosmetic content you can put behind a paywall. Instead create GOOD expansions with real content and updates that are meaningful and I will pay gladly.

This is literally what I have been saying for the past hour. I feel the exact same
