Just deleted my 314 Titan and 313 Hunter together with all the good stuff.
Then I uninstalled the game from my PS4, after 306 hours of gaming.
If you wonder why read on.
The reasons I did this are the following:
- Grind, grind and grind.
- RNG awards (to get you addicted).
- Lack of new content / repetetive
- Introduction of microtransactions.
- Did I mention grind?
Basically, when you (quickly) finished the limited content, you feel like a rat getting a small reward for completing the same few mazes over and over again. Is that what you really want to spend your time doing?
You might ask why I still spent so much time playing Destiny? Because I love gaming. Gaming should be fun and not feel like a chore. I still game other games, but I also spend more time with family and friends.
Bye bye, Destiny.
EDIT: I never thought so many would take time to comment on this post. Obviously I hit a nerve or does all farewell-post get hundreds of comments? I actually had much more fun in the forum, than I have had in the game for weeks. Thanks!
Respect and peace to all faithfull Destiny gamers and also to those who decided to use a short human life on other (gaming?) activities.

306 hours? Jeezus -blam!- ya noob. That isn't anything at all. Majority of the destiny players had 1000+ hours BEFORE taken king dropped. Hell. day one players probably had that many hours in the first couple months.
-
Why not just stop playing for a while then when it gets good again just play it a while ??
-
I grind every day, but I like it! I help others get trough the raid, I play with friends and we are laughing and joking around. Destiny isn't holding me from playing other games, I just like it! Doesn't feel like an addictive grind for me!
-
That was the highest light level you had?

1 AntwortenIf your going to leave, leave. What is the point of saying this when nobody's going to really care. Just move on.
-
2 AntwortenAll you needed to do was take a damn break man I took a couple months off from this game and it made the game fun again. When it starts to feel boring again I'll take a break. Deleting your stuff is dumb after spending so much time on it
-
1 AntwortenLight level exceeded hours played...nm
-
1 Antworten306 hours is nothing. Good job though. I spent over 1900 hours and still wonder why!

306 hrs... Lol And no matter how you dice it, the entire intent of your post and actions is... CLICKBAIT I hope the future you figures out how not to be you right now... For the sake of the everyone you will ever interact with.

Bearbeitet von turn1racelogic: 12/16/2015 2:57:53 AMCan someone please explain why everyone like op have to announce their departure? Do they think they are important to others? Do they think people will be upset or happy when they leave? Or they care so much about this game, that they feel the need to show everyone the reason why they are leaving?
-
Wow, you showed them. Bungie will never recover from you leaving.

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von Tomtatta: 12/16/2015 2:29:42 AMI snap my fingers a split second before I sit down on a cold toilette seat to counteract the shock of my butt cheeks hitting the seat. That statement has about as much value to you as yours did to me and most of the people in this forum.

1 AntwortenYou made the right decision. Ad Victoriam.

1 AntwortenSounds like someone wants a cookie.

And who are you?

Goodbye. You won't be missed.

Bearbeitet von Nagoogly: 12/15/2015 7:07:18 PMLets be honest, every game that the common people play IS nothing but grind. So you're ditching one grind for another. Just please at least play good games with an actual story *cough* *cough* Last of Us .

12 AntwortenHaha only 314. You deleted them because your not good. If your going to complain actually be good at the game. Get good scrub
-
Why do people say destiny is repetitive? Have you played Cod you grind for absolutely no reason to max prestige and there's 12 maps it's the same thing Over and over! Destiny has the same thing called crucible but then so much more

Only 59 days played for me!

306 hrs of gaming a grind.... HA! u know nothing of the grind hitting 4 digits thts a grind lol
-
We are go though that destiny is soo good we always come back :) I tried leaving couldn't stay always love playing destiny

Why not just keep them and only play when new content is released. You dont have to grind if you dont want to.
