SRL SUCKS
Im sick and tired of finishing a race in first a good 4+ seconds in the lead only to be told I finshed in 5th place and 8 seconds after the leader once everyone else has crossed the line! How is it possible to finish 8 seconds after them when ive had time to stop turn around and watch each and every one of them cross the line after me! Im also fed up of bungie and its mods ignoring this issue which is spoiling the SRL for countless people

5 AntwortenIf your connection to the server is slow (less than the stated required min) while others are faster then this issue will present itself. The only way to truly remove the issue is to get a faster internet connection see everyone seems to think just because they have a 200mb internet they actually get that speed while in fact that isn't true at all, yes most will get a good speed but this really doesn't matter to much it's your upload speed and download speed combined that matter. EG if your uploading at 0.5mb and downloading at 200mb then to everyone else who is downloading at 100mb but uploading at 1.0mb they will be better connected to the sever and you will appear to be lagging to them. If your using wireless google how to set your wireless channel to one that is free, if your using a hard wired connection google how to increase your upload speed from your download speed. This always helps me if I run into this issue, hope it helps. ( it's not to hard to sort this out the tutorials can be very helpful and clear to follow....... For obvious reasons I have to state here that you choose to follow these external instruction at your own risk and like everything it may not produce the result you are expecting/ 9-10 it will but there is always a chance it won't I'm just saying follow it clearly and look it up first)

1 Antwortenlmao. I absolutely suck at driving my Sparrow, and really do not give a shit. Watch out for me on patrol.. I drive like a drunk in a blackout. I did finish one SRL race... then next time I tried, the "goodie" people finish so much faster and the race ends. Yep, I suck at driving. lol, and I am 1000 % perfectly ok with that. I dont participate in SRL anymore. Deleted the bounties.

2 AntwortenIt's a total lottery, and of course, the ever present problem of players with unreliable/poor internet connections doesn't help. I won a race when the SRL first started. However, I haven't been able to finish a single race since that initial win! I've always been crap at racing games, and was stunned to actually get 1st place. I certainly had no skill to get the win, so what's going on?! Suddenly, I can't even finish a race!! That's seriously messed up.

3 AntwortenI have seen this issue a hell of a lot. I have seen people finish 40 seconds faster than everyone else after only hitting half the gates. I have crossed the finish line and been moved up or down the results. I have also seen friends cheating to help a team mate by forming a wall in front of the finish line right from the start of the race. there are invisible wall, sparrows can bottom out after a jump and lose all their boost. I know this is supposedly just a test, but they have still been working on it for months without managing to fix glaring issues. I just stay in it for the gear now lol, luckily loot is not linked to finishing position....just as well since the game can't make up it's mind who won in some races lol
