The log book was a HUGE waste of money. $10 for crappy gear that is not beneficial whatso ever, and an ugly ass sparrow that is EXACTLY like every other sparrow, along with an ugly ass sparrow to accompany it. I'm waiting to see if they increase rewards for completion of the log book; if not, I'm emailing them and asking for my 1000 silver back. They can take all of the rewards off of my character, including the sparrow and shader, if they want, I don't care. I was absolutely pissed that I spent $10 on that book and got screwed over like that.

Hell, it doesn't even have to be gear. Just give me a 180 sparrow with better control/boost and id be happy.

The first thing I did was compare the new sparrows to the ones I currently have. The upgraded sparrows have better boost while the new ones I think have better durability. Upgraded sparrows don't let you do tricks but the "Tumbler" we got for free does. It's 150 but With less boost but still gets the job done and got me first place when I needed to do my tricks. New sparrows are cosmetic. Just like in iron banner or regular PVE grind you either wait to get your 290/310 exotic or you buy it at the kiosk or from Xur because you want it right now even if it's at 280. It's a choice and a chance you take. All this is known. To me, all this is about the new fun and raising your light level. Even emotes I hear now are dropping. Things people bought. It's really just, are you patient to possibly get it or do you have to have it before everyone else. That's the risk you take.

Upon completion of the quest I noticed every legendary drop became over 300 light gear "every time". So I'm excited about that.
