You can't hit anyone with a hammer anymor unless they're standing still. Or moving in a straight line away from you. The Sunbreaker is the weakest class in pvp now. Thoughts?
Edit: So every person who's commented saying "learn to aim" or something along those lines has a sub 1.0 KD in the crucible. Sounds like you all need to take your own advice first and go practice and leave this discussion to people who aren't bitter.

It isn't god mode anymore so you have to use a bit of brain to use it effectively. Throw the Hammer to the place were the enemy will be, not were he is. Use it with brain, learn to predict the travel time.

1 AntwortenGood. Having a distanced super with an ability on par with rocket tracking is ridiculous for PvP content. It's very easy to get kills when you can just spam it in a general direction and know it'll find whatever is nearby. It takes skill to aim it now, just like the Golden Gun does. If hunters had a tracking perk for GG that was even half as good as the Hammer used to be, it would be a problem

Don't use it, I prefer first of havoc, I'm surprised there aren't more posts calling for a nerf to the stormcaller subclass, that shit is impossible to evade and lasts so long, they get you twice with it haha

So what it is more along the lines of golden gun/self rez warlock. If you can not get kills with it is user error.

I like it now. The smash radius seems decent reduce ( no longer dies when not hit ) and tbh then like shadowshot, you need to hit aprox

I used HoS every now and then and was amazed at how I could just turn and chuck heat seeking hammers lol. I don't think we're seeing the results of an over nerf, we're seeing how ridiculously OP that HoS was prior to the rebalance. It's perfectly balanced now, if you think it got "nerf'd into the ground" (like many people scrolling thru these comments), then you were likely relying on invincibility+easy kills it provided before through massive explosions and tracking. It still has the highest kill potential, a nice overshield and the ability to regen health.

Nothing is ever what Bungie says it is. Auto rifles 2.5% nerf ended up being 14%. Auto rifle buff of 7% ended up being .7% some pulses were nerfed 19% high impact. That was never announced. I could go on. There's a tradition here of telling the player base one thing, aiming a shotgun at their own foot, pulling the trigger, then either ignore the backlash or release a weekly update that nobody believes.

Yeah, explosion radius also seem to be more nerved than in the patch notes. After what they did with auto rifles.

I think it was nerfed 25%. The tracking was never great to begin with, so now it's practically non-existent.

since KD is what gives credibility for you, Get good scrub I main a hunter but play all three and they all feel pretty well balanced. (Don't actually mean calling you a scrub)
