Crucible now after update?
I dont know how you guys screw up crucible to the point where its not even fun anymore? Shotguns got nerfed so bad they're barely usable... Crucible is now littered with snipers. Assault rifles are still under-powered and on top of it all? HOW DOES LAST WORD GO BACK TO BEING THE MOST OVER USED "OP" HAND CANNON IN YEAR 2?? NOTHING ELSE COMPETES AGAINST IT SO PPL THEN USE IT TO COUNTER IT.... Again crucible is no long fun/playable... You guys really made it so player are LIMITED to a small few weapons to choose from? (Which is? LAST WORD/SNIPER) If ppl say Destiny is dying? THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS FOR IT...

Need more time to assess. Been doing SRL and pve, though I did get two matches in, I think. Played rumble. First game was .78 or something (yuck) w pulse (can't recall: did they mess w the stability? I was all over the place). Second was a first place with something like 1.87. We will see. Looking forward to trying my perfect roll IB pistol.

No, it's fun again for the first time since TTK. I use HCs, but not the last word. They've been useless and now they rock again without being too strong. I think it's great! And shotguns work fine I think!? I use the god combo Lord high fixer and invective and think it works really nicely!! Haven't seen too many tlw as well yet, have the feeling people use all different kind of guns, not only pulse rifles...

5 AntwortenThey need to get a handle on the special ammo system. I think we should start with a certain amount of special ammo, and there should not be any drops. Whatever you start with is what you have for the rest of the match. Ration wisely.

Scout rifles, auto rifles, hand cannons are all sort of toghter. Mida and tlw are probably the two best atm. Pulse are usable but not amazing

I don't know about you but my Tlaloc/Mida/Suros can still do pretty well in a typical match. I rarely get outgunned by the last word at non-close range encounters. Play to your advantage, I'd say.

Running into a lot of passive players who stay at spawn point picking people off. More difficult to be an aggressive player. Slow and boring.

1 AntwortenI played Rumble today and for the first time, won it. I used my beloved Mida Multi Tool (2.0 297 level) and got 15+ (of 21) kills with it. Many people tried to shot gun me which makes zero sense when they are running from 100+ feet in a straight line and I head shot them with Mida. Perhaps these were all just green PvP people out for their 15 Marks - so I don't think it's representative.

I like it personally autos are really good in close quarters and will melt you, hand cannons are viable again, pulse are okay I haven't tried them yet, scouts are better but Mida is a little overused right now. But that's just because it came back in game

The only thing that has ruined the crucible (and sometimes pve) is the addition of the "fall off" damage to guns. Destiny was much better whenever fall off damage was morin the game. By having this type of mechanic in the game it simply limits the usage of 75% of the guns in the game. If that is what they intended then why make so many guns in the first place if only a select few at any given point in the game are usable? Makes no sense to me. Year one gameplay was much more fun than what it is now. Pulse rifles are arguably the most boring weapons to use yet it seems as though they have moved the new meta to feature pulse rifles/scout rifles due to this retarded implementation of "damage fall off." In my personal opinion the damage fall off needs to be taken out of the game. For kids saying that they don't want to get mapped by a last word or auto rifle, think of it like this, the recoil on those guns is much more than that of a scout rifle/pulse rifle. This means that if you lose a gun fight from range to an auto rifle/tlw then you should be blaming your own individual skills rather than the games mechanics. This is why the crucible has become the joke that it has become. Year 1 crucible was much more fun than year 2 by a land slide, which is why you see so many people migrating to other games rather than sticking it out with destiny.

Shotguns are still great if you're a good player who knows how to maneuverer, vertically and horizontally, and Auto Rifles are in a place that gives you an advantage if you can consistently land headshots. The Last Word might SEEM OP (and at its designed range, it is) but use it anywhere much further than kissing distance and you'll find most weapons beat it. The fact you seem to believe that hand-cannons are king again, Shotguns/Autos are UP and Snipers are OP shows me you use a Shotgun and an Auto Rifle. Pick up a Sniper and maybe you'll figure out why everyone wants use them. And BTW, in terms of weapon choice, Crucible has never been better. You want bad weapon choice? Go back to the Nine-Month-Meta.
