Crucible now after update?
I dont know how you guys screw up crucible to the point where its not even fun anymore? Shotguns got nerfed so bad they're barely usable... Crucible is now littered with snipers. Assault rifles are still under-powered and on top of it all? HOW DOES LAST WORD GO BACK TO BEING THE MOST OVER USED "OP" HAND CANNON IN YEAR 2?? NOTHING ELSE COMPETES AGAINST IT SO PPL THEN USE IT TO COUNTER IT.... Again crucible is no long fun/playable... You guys really made it so player are LIMITED to a small few weapons to choose from? (Which is? LAST WORD/SNIPER) If ppl say Destiny is dying? THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS FOR IT...

Still the worst pvp ever. A year n 3 months and can't get weapons balanced. This is the only fps I've ever played where assault rifles are obsolete and secondaries are used as primaries. Bungie just SUCKS

I've been here since the start and supported bungie through all of their updates and supported their decisions but I'm now sad to say I think I agree

1 AntwortenEveryone bitching about everything. Tlw is decent but very restricted to where it can be used, it's still not nearly what It was prior to ttk. Shotguns still wreck people and everyone complaining about how they got nerfed just need to get over it. They are finally having to be used the way they were intended, at close range. And snipers, the easiest thing to counter. Point is everyone complains when they have to find a new way to play, hell, I did too, until I discovered doctrine of passing and now crucible is fun again.

2.0 was the most balanced the crucible has been. I hope 2.1 is just as, but right now I prefer 2.0's crucible

I just started learning to play with TLW this past weekend. Seriously if you get killed over and over again by it, you need to pay attention more. It doesn't win at pulse rifle range unless you are damaged or caught off guard.

Called this since they announced the update. Nerf shotguns to oblivion and everyone will just switch to sniping. That is not balance. Bungie's idea of a weapon update is to cycle through and nerf everything and buff one specific weapon type that everyone will flock to instead. We've had the reign of shotguns, hand cannons, fusion rifles, assault rifles, pulse rifles, and now snipers. I guess after they nerf snipers to a 2 headshot kill or something, sidearms will be next in line to shine. Nerf one thing, we will just switch to something else. Rather than balance weapons to make everything useful at the same time, Bungie seems to embrace this behavior and just change it up every so often for variety because they lack the skill to properly balance their sandbox

The new weapon balancing doesn't bother me, but the way they have screwed matchmaking does.

100% agree. It has come to the point where I almost stopped playing.. havent touched it for the last 2 days.. its just straight out boring.. snipers everywhere, who repeatedly hs you in between fast fireing scout headshots with high caliber rounds..... Lagg is horrendous.. this is because bungie changed, without informing, the match making to be based on skill instead of ping.... Not to forget, that everyone is also using the last word.. worst patch ever. Destiny is dead

I must say since ttk came out I've enjoyed crucible more than ever. Even though pulse rifles ruled it at least put everyone on an even playing field. I hated crucible year one and I have more medals in the first two months of ttk than I did the whole year due to enjoying it for the first time. And low and behold they take the pleasure away from me in the new patch. Constantly getting killed by tlw or first curse. It seems it's gone back to one gun meta. They think they need to fix pulse rifles ruling all by making it so everyone uses one or two guns. I once again hate crucible

Honestly MIDA aka all class tlaloc, or hard light the max stability unlimited range auto rifle are owning tlw users.

I don't think the last word is op I'm okay at pvp and I'm struggling a bit with it year 2. Went flawless today with hawksaw invective combo. Some guys will just kill you regardless of your gun choice.

I'm not gonna lie though. If you're kind if a crappy player that thinks that you're better than you really are, you're probably going to get misleading results when going up against a somewhat decent players using TLW.

3 AntwortenI see no change. Shotguns are still the best secondary. Assault Rifles are still useless. Hand cannons still have horrible stability. and Titan melee still don't connect with shit. It's the same Destiny I've been playing since TTK. I don't feel any change. People who say there's a change, I feel, are just psychologically prone to it.

3 AntwortenBtw, has anyone touched Vex Mythoclast since the update? I brought it out for a bit cause of nostalgia and it is so inaccurate until well into its zen moment perk coming in. What is up with that. It was fine how it used to be.

I mean the weapons that were out of line weren't even that bad. Pulse rifles were a little too versatile. That was our biggest problem, a pretty damn small one if you ask me. Rip crucible.

Dont get me wrong i like a aggressive/clever playstyle but the past metas where just brainless rushing sure for some people its fun but i like it when i dominate others with skill and not just using op weapons and thats what happens now ;) tactical positioning and clever use of the enviroment now finally counts for shotguns and not only for thw one that dont use it ;) Edit: the next step for bungie would be to dicrease the special ammo you get at the start and with every pickup you get

3 AntwortenWelllllllll I'm gonna stick with the scout/shotty anyways because taking this game seriously is a waste of sanity. Play for fun, use your favorite guns, don't get butthurt. Not worth it guys.
