Aggressive loadout in the new meta
Well I'm an aggressive player.
I've never been one to use the top tier weapons, but in this new meta my preferred guns don't work as well.
I thought I'd share the only aggressive loadout I've found to work consistently.
Max rate of fire pulse rifle
Lord of wolves
No backup plans

This has become a post where aggressive players come to share their favorite loadouts. I like it.

I discourage the suggestion of TLW and 1000 yard stare.
Back in the old days of exotic handcannons and shotguns, Thorn and fellwinter were the face of the meta, the defining loadout of crucible.
In this new (terrible) meta of camping and passive play the defining loadout is TLW and 1000 yard stare.
That's the face of the current meta.
And because of that I look down on these weapons, at least for now.

And of course, cauterize
Armamentarium as the exotic
After the titan melee range buff immobius is perfect for shotgun + melee, something I didn't really get to do as a titan before.
And that's what I do with this loadout.

Sometimes i switch it up tho amd i use this AWESOME suros scout i got from the gunsmith a while ago. Its one of the slow shooting high impact ones but its seriously my favorite legendary for pvp. And if i use that i will use the chaperone as my secondary. I have a lot of fun with that loadout but i do better when i use my mida loadout so it depends on how good the kids im playing against are. Maybe ill use plan c or telesto just for shits and giggles but very rarely do i do that. Then my heavy is the raid machine gun or the trials rocket launcher. I prefer machine guns. In trials im a scrub tho and switch to the truth cuz thats the best rocket launcher in the world lol I only use warlocks so if im running normal crucible, usually rift, i will run stormcaller with the impossible machines. In trials i will use sunsinger with either light beyond nemesis, if my teamates cant use quick revive, or claws of ahamkara

I don't know why people think snipers camp, I always run back and forth around the map with DOUBLE snipers.

Bearbeitet von Killlerschaf: 12/15/2015 4:27:40 AMUntil I get the Tarantella, this is the current Bladedancer loadout: Knucklehead radar (would have been a Lucky Raspberry in Y1), blink, fast twitch (with 1T in strenght. I do that since Vanilla, as it helps you to get your melee back in case of one quick skirmish after another), invisible perk on the Arcblade and obviously Quickdraw paired with hungering blade. Weapons as usual: Thorn/Red Death/Jade Rabbit Matador with Rangefinder/Battlerunner Raid LMG or Against all Odds. Tbh it works better with the Bladedancer than it does with the Ramlock (simply because of Quickdraw and the grenades), but Novabomb has more shutdown potential when heavy drops, or when half of the team gathers at a certain location. As a whole I do not really dig the new subclasses that much, and find it unplayable without blink, simply because of the camping convention in which snipers transformed this game's PvP.

4 AntwortenRam, Thorn, Matador with Rangefinder/Battlerunner, Against All Odds with CC or The Raid LMG with one man army. I'm using Vortex grenades and the Vortex Novabomb with the Vortex mastery. I prefer the AoE DoT, over shatter. Currently thinking about putting more points into strength, as I noticeably need more melee attacks to finish people off, than before. I also use the Jade Rabbit/same setup. Red Death wasn't half bad either.

It lets me get to positions very quickly. Some people don't like flashbangs, but me personally. I like them due to their versatility. They can be used to push or defend. As well as having the ability to be used out in the open as well. I'm working on a Sunbreaker build too. But I haven't played around enough with it yet.

The best aggressive setup, and my favorite ATM is: Bladedancer w/ATS tarentella THORN felwinters lie/aggressive ballistics party crasher Any good proximity launcher. This will work on almost any map except for some of the larger TTK maps, where you might have to cave in and go TLW/sniper.
