Okay so as people guessed Bungie was testing us with micro transactions and now they are adding more. The more people continue to support these transactions then the more likely they will continue and get even worse!
We need to stop this! I'll post pics soon!

EDIT 2:
Along with Bungie pushing in more and more microtransactions they are also not planning to do any DLC until Destiny 2!!

EDIT 3: Bungie you're ruining this game!!
Another guardian posted a post like this and COZMO commented and he didn't deny the pictures at all. They care for nothing except money.
Boycott BungieVision!
Trending: Keep it up everyone!!
Edit: Rumble is now single player? Are you serious Bungie??? You now have no game types in which you can play against your friends...good -blam!-ing job!!!
Edit 2: You can still play classic free-for-all on year one maps with a fireteam of 3.
Play this while you can! My guess is it will also soon be gone! RIP competitive multiplayer with friends!
Edit: Cozmo said that sparrow racing was put in because of popular demand. How long have we been asking for private matches in crucible?
Edit: Are exotics the only thing being time gated?
*The simple answer is "NO".
*How do I know this? Well for one the "Kings Fall Challenge Mode" was said to be under development and would be later released but when challenge mode came out there was "NO PATCH". This is because it was time gated to extend the life of the game in hopes that they can make it to the next DLC. Which is said to be "Destiny 2". Meaning they are holding content that you paid for, whether you knew about it or not.
*How does this make you feel??
Edit: TheNobleGuardian
*Imagines Luke Smith sitting in chair as more and more books and silver are purchased
The Luke Smith slowly brings his cup of coffee up to his mouth
"It's all going according to plan..."
The Luke Smith then sips his coffe, and a smile slowly emerges on his face.
"And they said they wouldn't throw money at the screen."
"He then smiles with glee, leans back in his chair, and takes in the view from his Penthouse suite."
Edit: Recently looked at the amount of emotes that ESO has and they triple the amount or emotes in Dwstiny. Guess what is crazy about it? They all come with the game, and not as a paid microtransaction.
Edit: For those of you who enjoy SRL this is Deej comment on a petition to make SRL permanent.
"Don't sign the petition. Play.
Maybe even grab a Sparrow.
I'm out there. Race me."
Have any of you raced Deej?
This guy did.... http://m.imgur.com/lr68N8o
Thanks for at least holding to your word Deej!!!
Edit: For those who like to Race!

"You need the "Air Control" perk on the SRL helmets, the one that lets you use the left stick to push the sparrow down in the air. I had no idea how much it would help until I unlocked the perk. I went from placing 3rd-4th every game to 10-15 seconds ahead of everyone by the end of the race.
It will let you drop faster after jumps and hold the sparrow to the ground and hold the corners better. It makes a world of difference. Just remember to pull back on the stick or let go of the stick for jumps with a large gap of you won't make the other side.
Also take the shortcuts if you can, they help a lot."

EDIT: -blam!- off Bungie. Asking for $30 for a class boost is stupid.
You guys should just drop the servers and save everyone the time.

1 AntwortenI'm telling you it's a -blam!-ing scam. Everyone knows it, the only reason they put it out there is cos someone always buys
-
You're not my wife, bitch.
-
As long as it isn't a pay to win situation I'm okay with it....you don't need to buy the microtransactions...I bought them because they were cool and they support future free content to all other players and it also funds destiny 2...you don't have to buy it but if you do buy it....your money is helping out the game without needing to actually buy DLC...which causes other people to miss out on the destiny experience if they cannot pay for DLC

2 AntwortenBought the book!! Love it!! I was prepared to buy 3, 1 for each character! But Bungie cares and I only had to get one! I don't mind playing a little more to support a game I've liked playing for over a year now. Hope my $10 goes to making more Destiny content! Or Deej and Luke Smith can just take $5 each and pocket it! I don't really care, love the sparrow racing league!
-
You don't need the book.
-
It's the players choice, if some want to buy in game items then so be it. I have never really come across a game where you can't buy upgrades or weapon packs. I don't understand the big problem with it. I earn my money so I will spend my money on what I like. I am sure that you would not like me to tell you what is an acceptable purchase with your money.
-
I mean, I didn't physically throw money at the screen but...

49 AntwortenJust did my first race. First place(obviously), and don't really have a desire to keep going. It's really cheesy. The destiny enemies don't do anything that really messes with you. Venus, the harder track supposedly, seemed easy. By the second lap I figured out the turns and basically that's the only hard part. I feel kind of sad. If this is what the live team has been working on we are all in big trouble. They've wasted assets making this crap in an effort of sell silver quickly and now I'm truly scared that Destiny moving forward is going to be a gigantic silver fest of shit, filled with countless "events" designed to extract silver purchases. I know they'll be a mad rush of silver transactions so I sincerely hope they don't use that as a barometer for success in trying to figure out if they're going to bring this back in 6 months. Week 1 player here Bungie, my opinion counts for something. Take it from me, SRL is not Destiny. It's a 10 year old's Super Nintendo game that they get for their birthday and soon realize isn't fun, so they go back to playing super Mario. I'm sure that the number of racing participants will decrease daily and by week three it'll be hard to get a match quickly. I'm all for people spending their cash on whatever they want. It's just that at this point I can see that the more people spend on these "racing books", the worse off Destiny will be in the future. Because it'll justify Bungie using their live team to create these events that add nothing of substance to this once great game.

3 AntwortenWhy buy the book when you can get the rewards for free?
-
Don't have to buy the book. You can just press triangle on it in the Eververse trader and fill it out without buying it. I've been doing that and have it half way done!
-
You can get the rewards from the book without buying the book. Just putting that out there.
-
4 AntwortenYou actually don't have to buy the book. You can just visit Tess Everis after doing some races and the book still tracks the progress and you can still turn in the challenges by inspecting the book in Tess's inventory
-
2 AntwortenI'd like to point out that Bungie is not making these bullshit microtransaction choices—Activison, who actually publishes the game, is. It's Activision's greed that is harming Bungie's vision of this awesome game.
-
Saw the record keeping book for 1000 gold. Not worth it.
-
4 AntwortenIdiot it's free DLC technically and only cosmetic micro transactions
-
2 AntwortenI had to get the book, the movie wouldn't be out in time.
-
1 AntwortenBearbeitet von blikkity: 12/9/2015 7:40:59 AMSigned. I agree completely. I will not be purchasing the book. It's almost offensive that I should have to pay to get gear. By purchasing the book, you are supporting microtransactions and encouraging the gaming company's to push out junk, rather than working on actual dlc that improves the gaming experience. #MyOpinion Edit: I have always enjoyed the separate dlc's.
-
If you don't want to buy anything then don't! Why stop others? This isn't the only game that does extras to buy ie World of Tanks.
-
3 AntwortenBought the book...don't care what you think...just saying

I have not and will not buy silver. I will play the game when relevant, but if no new content is available I will just play another game. I will however buy a legit DLC.

1 AntwortenDon't tell me what to do ima buy 3!
